Kofi Annan is a spineless worm who needs to be removed from the UN I say, Remove the UN and leave Kofi standing there without a job.

Hi PMM - I have had three exhausting days and took a nap this afternoon, and now am awake to read FR (what a Dose!). I'm so happy for you getting a toaster tonight. I know you've been hankering for one, BIG TIME, as Cheney would tell you.
How hot is it where you are? (It's nice and cool here -- just right.)

Lets try it again. Here is the enlarged photo of the rug...
I just want to thank everyone who posts the great pictures every night. It's such a joy to come here in the evening to find out what President Bush has been up to.

Thank you again for your kind words, this post and last!
This is my 3rd in just over 7 months! I hanker for one everyday!
But am glad for others that they are spread out.
So everyone gets a shot at it.
:)
It's not too hot outside
right now but my apt retains the days heat well.
It only got up in the mid 70's
but they linger in my Apt.

That rug needs to be hanging very prominently in President Bush's library someday.

My first thought as well!

It looks like President Bush is wearing a robe like President Karzai wears. Thanks for the enlargement.

That rug needs to be hanging very prominantly in President Bush's library someday. I think you should write GWB and share your thoughts with him! I would love to be able to see that rug someday in his library. Great idea. Thank you for posting this--what an amazing tribute.

I guess I didn't even think about his white legs! I think he just looks like he has some old sweats on, the red socks look odd to me as do the glasses! It just doesn't look like our GWB--who usually even when we see him exercising looks ok. I hate to say it, but he looks kind of geeky, which is so not how he usually looks! :) On the other hand, I don't want to sound too critical--most of us don't look very fashionable when we have our exercise clothes on--at least I sure don't! It really isn't a big deal--I just thought it was one of my least fav. pics of him ever. As I said before, I hope he had a great ride in the beautiful countryside of Russia!

Regarding slacks or as we call them trousers to church. I think probably America is the same as Britain it depends on the type of trousers and what denomination.
I know a lovely Christian couple who live opposite us who in their church it would not be acceptable for a women to wear trousers whether to church or around the house. Mary tends to wear fairly long flowing skirts all times. Also for church a hat is mandatory.

You're welcome.
It is kind of strange being in a lull with anything direct, but OTOH there is lots going on where I am at.

Why does President Putin alway look so secretive?
Is it because he was once KGB?
