Israel has a coalition goverment, and it is inherently unstable. That means, if Olmert does not act tough, his government will fall.

This is an excellent time for a hawk to seize power in the goverment.

Perhaps Bibi?

We can only hope. If that should happen the whole nature of this conflict would change in a nanosecond.

Been over at another board (Timebomb) and the general consenus seems to be the blackout means it curtain call time. I don't buy it . . . yet.

That's right. Plus Bibi is not afraid to use military force and that means there will be more likely to have peace.

It's simple.

Peace = War

Strong National Defense = Strength and Peace

The only thing that the Arabs understand is if you have strength and not afraid to use force when necessary.

There's nothing they disrespect more than a "dove". After all, look at what happened with Prime Minister Barak back in 2000. Wasn't he supposed to give us peace in the Middle East?

Barak is responsible for the eruption of al-Aqsa Intifada which resulted in 1,001 Israelis were killed (up to September 2004) and 6,700 were wounded.
