I wonder if it's to prevent the media from filming rescue helicopters? Do we know any more about the media blackout?
Thank you. I am of the opinion that the IAF and their intelligence are among the best in the world and it was puzzling me how the hezbollahs seemed to be firing at will.
No, I believe the Kaytushas are for the most part being targeted at the northern most communities, so there is no need to put them right on the border. the missiles hitting hafia have been reported to be the Thunder/Radd missiles and the Fargi 3 rockets (upgraded Kaytushas) also with plenty of range so as not to put them right on the border. And the Zedzel missiles capable of reaching TelAviv have an approx. 120 mile range which means they can practically be fired from beirut. Now that i think about it, its kind of worrying they were transporting those missiles (the ones Israel claims they took out) forward, unless they were moving far enough south to hit Dimona (that's a really scary thought)
You just made my day! Thank You!
Oh, no, it wasn't you. People have been saying it all day. I've never heard Dallas mentioned even once, just Houston. Sorry if it sounded like I was blaming you - my rant was cumulative - directed at the "they" who do it all the time.
no haven't heard anything else about the blackout, anybody else?
Darn! I figured it was a good to get something done.....during Shep! I forgot about the comedy relief!

Ooooooh - long-lost memory. I had such a crush on the Scud Stud!
Yes...no live footage of incoming missiles per Israel...or you get the boot from the country.
Where's the screenshot of Shep stretching his arms out wide to show how long those rockets are? He seemed nervous and a tad bit sweaty!
Seriously, I enjoy watching Shep and though it's funny watching him duck and fret, Jennifer and the cameraman were ducking too, and being in a war zone certainly is not without risk. I'll laugh at him but only in a good natured. way. :-)
Al-Aribiya is showiing the same Israeli artillery shot OVER AND OVER on a loop while the commentators talk..
Zec 12:6 In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.

I had the same question...no details given...
I think they meant the attack from earlier this morning when the buiding collapsed and we had Mike Tobin live in Haifa...didn't see Shep at that point...so guessing that's what it's about.
What we were seeing today with Shep (hiding behind Jennifer) was in another city (the place Jennifer has been reporting from).
