Maybe all of our leading Demagogues could volunteer to be "human shields" in Haifa and other northern Israeli towns. Hezbollah and Iran would not want to risk killing their best allies in the USA, so rocket attacks would wind down pretty quickly......... /s
I hope you also saw the video of the woman from Lebanon screaming at the cameras that all this was Bush's fault.
Under no circumstances would I ever hit a woman.
If I had been this woman's husband I would have made an exception, gave her a slap, semi-lightly, across the cheek and asked her, "honey, do you know how absolutely stupid you sound"?
Amen to that. Oh, and let's not leave out that Libyan dork, Gawdawfulli!
I don't know. Did the state department have any warnings about traveling to the ME and or Lebanon? My money is on that they did. Therefore, as the man once said "Ya pays yer money and ya takes yer chances" if you travel there.
I didn't see it. Was she Lebonese or an American or what?
American Express....don't leave home without it.
:)
Some will, of course. It took me a half-day or so to think about it, because at first, I was very surprised, too. However, that's a very short distance, relatively, so probably not a huge amount of cost.
I had been more worried that the private company I heard about could possibly gouge people who were in a vulnerable position. Not saying they *would,* just worried about recommending them without knowing.
Lebonese I think. I'll try to find a link. I'm sure someone has it.
Reported earlier today but now confirmed.
Ghajar is a village right at the Israeli-Lebanese border. IDF has taken the Lebanese part of the village and errected a barrier around the village.

IDF forces conquer area inside Lebanese territory
By YAAKOV KATZ
IDF forces conquered Ghajar, an area inside Lebanese territory, it was released for publication on Monday.
The troops remained in the area and built a barrier to fortify their position.
Thank you...I will
Internet tools - advanced - lots of choices.
Thanks. I wasn't worried about anything until "Houston" kept cropping up in the homeland conversations. We've got enough troubles (as least, I do) with the Katrina people.
Now all we have to worry about is the recruitment of *those* into the terror ranks. From the listings, it's possible.
Ha ha. Yes, I tried to teach RY2 "un peu" of la Francais.
They don't take and s*&^, they just arrest them......

Interesting combination of stories...
21:39 IDF: Operation in Lebanon will continue `at least a week` (AFP)
Why announce a time limit. It should read "Operation in Lebanon will continue until Hizbullah has utterly been destroyed"
Probably.
Thanks!
