G8 leaders condemn bloodshed in Mid-East

- Chirac STRELNA (ST. PETERSBURG). July 16 (Interfax) - Leaders of the Group of Eight member states have approved a statement on the situation in the Middle East condemning bloodshed and military actions, French president Jacques Chirac said.

The statement condemns the escalation of violence and calls for the normalization of the situation and a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, the president said at a briefing on Sunday in Strelna.

Ceasefire with conditions:

FIRST- Kidnapped soldiers handed over to Israel

SECOND-Hezbollah stops firing rockets

THIRD- AFTER that is done then Isreal stops.


First two won't happen so the war will keep going.

I think Chirac is hallucinating that everyone adopted his position...no, that can't be right, France likes to take it doggie style.
