OT: Joe Lockhart (former Clintonista) and some Republican are launching a web site in October called HotSoup.com.
They want to bring news to people in a non-partisan way and are asking for public opinions, etc. over time as the web site gets developed.
I think freepers could have some valuable input and might want to keep track of the web site as it develops and sends out questionnaires.

is it just me or do these missile attacks seem to occur at the same time everyday..i guess what I am trying to ask is are they being fired in the day or at night ..which time is easier for hezbollah to fire them
For sure!!! And to think we almost had this waste of protein in the White House.
892? is a post from Alouette
There has been a LOT of bloviating by politicians...ghastly.
Without the Wahhabis, the House of Saud as we know it today, along with the country itself, would not exist. It was the Wahabbi ferocity, aligned with the Saud intelligence, that unified the disparate warring tribes.
Asking for SA to vanish the Wahabbi sect in the near term would be like asking us to vanish the Democrats, highly attractive, but not very realistic.
Iran is in for some unpleasant surprises if they interfere. If they interfere successfully, the surprises will be highly unpleasant. If they interfere unsuccessfully, then they will realize that they purchased an expensive pig in a poke, and the whole world will then know what IAs GWB was reading when he reincarnated star wars.
Ugh. They would.
Syrian Ambassador to U.S. speaking on CNN now.
Saying Israelis don't discriminate who they kill, killing women and children. How Syria opened their borders to American citizens. BS, from what rebel_yell2 and others have said--Americans, Brits, and Aussies have been turned away.
Does Assad have blood on his hands, if so to what degree compared to SH?
LOL!
Ironically post #666 was at 11AM...so yeah, you missed 268 posts!
OK you are freaking me out. Get out of my head! I was just posting this. Now I won't LOL. Already there and bookmarked.
No. Current events make this clear.
A leader of Hezbollah spoke but I missed what he said although I read they claim to have some surprises up their sleeves.
A rocket that hit Israel is said to have all the hallmarks of being Syrian made.
The Haifa attack last night was the deadliest in 5 days of bombing.
The G8 issued a statement that Israel has a right to defend itself but should show restraint. Freepers think they have shown restraint since Iran is still standing. LOL
The G8 also said something about how extremism can't be allowed to undermine stability in the Middle East.

Israel threatens to leave World Press Federation
By JPOST.COM STAFF
Israel will leave the World Press Federation if the organization does not retract its comment regarding the IDF's attacks on a television station belonging to the Hizbullah Al-Manar TV, Army Radio reported Sunday.
The Federation stated that Israel's attacks were against the principle of the freedom of the press.
The attacks on Al-Manar proves Israel's policy of the use of force as a means of quieting press organizations with which Israel does not agree, said Aidan White, Secretary-General of the Federation.
An official letter written to the Federation by Israeli reporters states that the condemnation of Israel's actions represents overt support for terrorism.

Agreed.
Ask me again on Tuesday.
Not just any Republican, but Matt Dowd, a Bushie.
