I told you Mahmood was hot already... we need the site map of Iran nuke facilities... not the one with Natanz and the other seven... Meanwhile i'm digging.
The Lebanon of two weeks ago was not nearly as unstable and crazy a place as today's...People go to DC every day, and that city has an awful crime rate...
It's not like people expected a hot war to develop.
This was probably discussed earlier, but did you hear Bob Bevlaka (spelling) today on Fox? My husband and I were both speechless with how angry he was at Israel.. He was visibly shaking angry and said this was overkill for two soldiers, etc... for someone who was a Navy Seal I was really astounded at his reaction.
"Israel renews attacks on Hizbullah HQ in Beirut "
Isn't this the building that collapsed? What do they think is there?
the point is, they bear some responsbility for where they choose to go. vactioning in hezbollah controlled southern lebanon, is not like going to disney world.
I am just saying, I was shocked to hear that on BBC. I subscribed to dx-tuners.com, which is a group of shortwave radio owners who have connected their radios to the internet. You can log into a receiver, say this one in Edinburgh, and tune into different stations.
I wish there was one in Israel, or Lebanon, but I probably wouldnt understand what they are saying anyway. There is one located in Dubai, but I couldnt make it work correctly.
OK
It would be asking way to much for one of the networks to go live until 2 or 3 am eastern during times like this.... absolutely killing me.
That goes without question.
BBC reporting British warships have arrived in area....evacuations may start today.
FNC is live now for a news update - not much new however.
I guess my point is the fact that a terrorist organization controls part of the country. There have been State Department warnings about travel there during the last 25 years. I know it's a beautiful area, but it's also a deadly area. I wouldn't travel to Peru with the Shining Path and Tupac Amaru Revolutionary Movement controlling many areas. Like you, I'm pulling for our American brethren ... and hoping they're not caught in the middle.
Dreaming of 24 hour real news coverage....
But I can give you the latest Haaretz ticker items:
07:07 Lebanese: IDF attacks Beirut port; large fire breaks out (AP)
07:00 Third Qassam rocket hits Sderot; no casualties reported (Haaretz)
06:56 IDF soldier injured in Beit Hanun (Haaretz)
06:49 Katyusha rocket hits community near northern town of Acre; 4 people injured (Haaretz)
06:43 Two loud explosions rock southern suburbs of Beirut (AP)
Hmmm...that sounds pretty one sided to me.
That was the worst I've heard him. But, I would say from time to time he's been on Fox in the last year or so he was sounding a lot like Hackworth. Very angry with the administration.
I guess you're right. Hezbollah wasn't there two weeks ago controlling parts of the country.
Be safe, Allegra.
