It just happened in the last hour, or at least we're just hearing about it, so maybe tomorrow there will be more information.
Of course, the Lebanese government can't be expected to tell us that some of their soldiers cooperate with Hezbollah and unless someone carries an Israeli military update (doubtful), then we may never know much about it.
Although, maybe something will be in the Israeli papers and we can read their take on the whole thing.
Thank You, I think........:*)
So greatful to hear that news. I was just discussing your son with Mr. d yesterday, and was wondering how Mrs. S was holding up during all of this.
I just returned from camping over the weekend in a remote area. I have been out of contact with all media, computers, etc.
I am fast and furiously trying to catch up with the latest.
the host actually said 'accidently' hit them??
Thanks .. hopefully, we'll hear from anita.
This is the most bizarre line of thinking... The Jews who were the target of extermination are the "exterminator." Only in a completely twisted mind could this be posited as true.
Well, now I'm not sure about that. The host made some mention of "was this an accident" or something like that.
The guest said that it wouldn't necessarily be an accident, iirc.
Yeah, I heard it. The interviewer obviously wasn't too bright. I thought the "former ambassador" (didn't catch his name) did a pretty decent job talking through the dumb questions.
Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean accused President Bush last night of being weak on national defense and absent in the escalating violence between Israel and Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon.
In remarks at San Diego State University, Dean urged activists to fan across the nation including deep into the heart of Republican-rich red states to tell voters that Bush has failed as president including in national defense, which Republicans tout as their core strength.

Terrorists do this all the time, it's part of their strategy.
That gueste was terrific and I wish I'd been paying more attention but I'm trying to get stuff done around here.
Tomorrow morning is the space shuttle landing and I'll want to be paying attention to that as well as all the news on these threads, so I really needed to get some things done.
Matthews is misreporting the GA statement, still saying they are calling for a cease fire. His reporter in St. Pete is misrepresenting the facts as well. Doesn't surprise me any, but I can't beleive that he is still employed.
That could be right; I only remember parts of the interview and only heard parts as I was in and out of the room.
If it's correct that Israel targeted two military bases, then they KNOW that those soldiers are cooperating with Hezbollah. Israel has some of the best intel in the world.
we need to email or something and request he correct that!
MSNBC: Reporter is at G8 and the people he's talked with say that behind closed doors, Chirac is admitting that he knows Syria and Iran are the problem.
I think because of France's huge muslim population they try to play both sides.

We shall see. The latest Haaretz headline says the IDF fears a missile attack on Tel Aviv. Some of the latest missiles have landed over 30 miles inside Israel (50 kilometers).
MEET THE PRESS is on MSNBC right now.
