Very true. Sadr has been shut down by the US military once, and many of the soldiers here would love to put one between his eyes. Sadr would be a fool to step up if Iran is attacked.

In my opinion, I believe Iran is talking crap now, but they won't step up if Syria is attacked. You had better believe America will be right there. Our troops are right next door and I am sure President Bush and the top brass would feel much better if the troops here are protected by their own. Iran would be folish to get involved though. We all know they love to talk, but the question is, are the really crazy enough to act? For some reason, I say they are not.

So many scenarios play through my mind, and every one of them leads to total destruction of Syria and Lebanon. Quite handily.

The US is alway ready for uprisings, and they will be put down like they always are. I don't like the idea of being 5 miles off of the Syrian border at this small place, but I hope the militias do come out. Our Marines want nothig more than open target practice on these cowards that refuse to fight them face to face. Win win situation my freidn. Your typical good vs. evil!
