For Fox to cover this story, their overnight staff must first locate Lebanon on a map.

I think Donna Fiducia is more likely to be able to locate Lebanon on a map than Shep; that guy couldn't find his own fanny in a house of mirrors.

DISH network and DIRECT TV - No International NEWS - BBC - CNN International and so on.

Does anyone know of a commercial satellite company that will put a disk on the side of your house that WILL get these channels?

Thanks

Russia and China will take the side of the militants, just watch and see.

And we'll all be thanking billyblytheclinton for having sold our most vital military secrets to the ChiComs. He's vile; and deaths will be around his neck.

IMHO, China would not act until we were wholly engaged/committed in both places.

It would be very tempting for Red China to jump in while we're stamping out a Middle East fire.

But I suspect they wouldn't till after the '08 Olympic Games. Still.....

Yes, and Irqan has been causing trouble in south Iraq. They may find they have a front there.

I think your scenerio earlier while a bit to comprehensive is cause for concern. There does appear to be a lot of symmetry in the actions of Iran and North Korea and now this. It could be a strategic plan on the part of these lunatics to create a lot of hot spots to get us to take our eye off the ball.

I can't see China being eager to get involved in a war anytime soon.

China's got to figure out how to put the Chia Pet back in his box so Japan doesn't start rearming.

China is not going to get involved in the Middle East as long as its getting its oil.

Gulf War III, comin' up.

The big news this time next year could very well be the civil war raging in what is now Saudi Arabia; Egypt could be in an internal war of attrition unless Iran is liberated from the mullahcracy, because the Saudi money currently being invested in revolutionary infrastructure in Egypt will dry up as the 3000 corrupt princes struggle among themselves and with the various islamofascist factions. If Iran isn't liberated by then, there will be an Iranian financed and inspired faction fighting to conquer Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Oh yeah, the price of oil (when it is available to buy) will be around $200 a barrel by that time. The good news about that is, there won't be anyone of consequence willing to stand in the way of drilling the ANWR, the Gulf of Mexico, and everywhere else anyone can think of on US soil. And everyone will be surprised at just how fast the ANWR well oil comes onto the market.

How will Iran attack Israel? They certainly cannot do it by land and they would require a number of refuelings to do it by air. Any missile attack would be met by a counter attack with cruise missiles from Israels subs. Israel's nuclear weapons also pose a serious deterrent. Iran cannot compete with Israel militarily. We woould get involved diplomatically, but not militarily.

No way. If we entered on the side of Israel, the fallout in the Arab world, including Iraq, would be huge.

I totally disagree. We are nearing the end of the poker game and we will either fold or go "all in". When it comes ot supporting Israel, Dubya will support Israel and tell our Arab friends to mind their own business and stay out of the way. The poop is hitting the fan and diplomacy be damned.

It's probably just "collective punishment" /sarcasm.

Taking out the Runways means no commercial flights in or out. Bad for the Lebanese economy, bad for Lebanon which must suffer the consequences of allowing Hezbullah to launch attacks from its soil. Militarily justified by helping to cut off military supplies, and economic conflict is part of war.

Lebanon was warned about this by the United Nations Security Council, but the Bush administration, by Chirac and Blair and the EU - and of course Lebanon should have known better given the history of Hezbullah, yet Lebanon allowed Hezbullah the freedom to attack anyway.

It cannot go unanswered.

..Direct TV doesn't even have international CNN or BBC.

Be careful of what you wish for. I've been waiting years for Fox News in the Mid-East.
