You are sounding like the crowd that goes around telling Wal-Mart what benefits their employees should receive.
McDonalds is a privately owned company. If they are not in violation of the law, we have no right demanding they change their ad campaigns.

I most certainly do. IT is my right to bitch as loud and long as I want at a private company. They can ignore me(us) at thier own economic peril. I don't want any laws passed stating "no advertising in Spanish". But, we certainly have the right to bitch, moan, boycott and generally make their ability to make money more difficult.

That's the beauty of capitalism.

"we have no right demanding they change their ad campaigns."

Bingo! You are absolutely correct! And they shouldn't mind when American citizens decide to boycott their products because of their political pandering.

Wrong. We have every right to demand change.

It is government that has no right in this case.

Like heck we have no right to demand McDonald's change their AD. They have the right to put the billboard up, the people and mayor of that town have EVERY right to protest it, and boycott McDonald's. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. It's a free country, and if enough people in this country don't want to have their language diluted or become a bilingual country, they are just as entitled to protest in any legal manner they desire.
