Well I am a retired engineer with 40 years in engineering and construction and the Simcox fence a major construction effort that would cost the rancher an absolute fortune to maintain not to mention his legal liability if someone is hurt or killed trying to breach it. The only entity that can authorize that type of barrier on an international border is the United States Or Mexico. They can cry private property all they want but the border is federal land no matter whose ranch it is on.
Not to mention the huge property tax increase the rancher would end up absorbing.
The maintenance costs would be incredible. Laughable.
Not only that, but you have to hire someone to drive that little jeep that runs up and down the track in the middle. ; D
