Main Stream Media has also been known by a number of other names. Old Media. Corporate Media.
Responsible Media!Certainly none in Responsible Media has a longer history or has been prouder of its traditions than the NY Times.
Yet it seems that some in Responsible Media could care less about its readers and their security as long as corporate media buying keeps it afloat.
Isn't it a pity there's nothing any of us can do about it. Sigh.

Darn, There is no one there for me to write a boycott letter.

What version (i.e. region) is that for. I know the NYT has different printing for different regions. I wonder if anyone may have a fairly comprehensive list from other regions as well.
I think a boycott, or at least letter writting campaign is in order here. I see about four or five advertisers that I will boycott and write letters to.

I don't know. Only reason I have the print edition is that a sample was dropped on my lawn late yesterday. They're getting desperate if they think I'd do anything but what I just did.

I had a courtesy copy of the NY Slime thrown on my property today. Boy did it feel good to add it to my collection of recycling without looking at it.

I think CNN is a trade out.
CNN gets free ads in the Times in exchange for giving the Times free promotion on CNN.
To: mountainlyons
What we need to do is when any of us buy a new car that is not a Chrysler product, we should send a copy of the title to Chrysler.. with a note saying... Saw your ad in the New York Times .. that is why I bought a (Brand of car you bought).
It won't take many of those kind of notes to get the Chrysler ads canceled.
To: Avoiding_Sulla
I'm not boycotting any of those companies. They're just advertising. It's not their fault that the NYT is a bunch of jerks. Best thing to do is just boycott the NYT itself. Cingular and Mikimoto have better things to do with their time than monitor the political activities of publications in which they advertise.

These are additional companies that support the traitorous anti-American NEW YORK TIMES.

Those companies are the life-blood of traitors that will
murder thousands, possibly millions, of Americans.
If they support traitors, they should be bankrupted, not just boycotted.

The NYT's circulation is its lifeblood. Get those numbers down and the advertisers will leave on their own.

AT&T called me once soliciting business. This was during the Clinton/Dole presidential campaign. I said "Why would I want to buy from a company who's spokesperson calls Bob Dole a jerk." The guy on the phone actually apologized for Whoppie Goldberg's behavior, even though he was just a phone bank guy. I think AT&T made a mistake hiring WG as a spokesperson, and that it hurt their image.
