Did I just hear a sound-bite from Bush saying we must allow diplomacy to work? Is North Korea part of the "Axis of Evil" or isn't it? There is no negotiating with a madmen, especially (if this story is true) a madman who just fired the first shot, a long range ballistic missile pointed at Hawaii.
Show your teeth Bush.

You prolly did hear that because I heard it, too.

"But on a serious this may be the closet we have been to nuclear war since the Cuban Missile Crisis."
Dear 'ol Kimmy is a nutjob, so we do need to tread carefully - no sense in getting a 100,000 SK's killed in the process of taking out the North if we can help it. That being said, it's also time to push the diplomacy along with the help of an aircraft carrier battle group. Or two. Or three.

For the time being, IMHO, he is probably doing the right thing, with the right approach. I will give him the benefit of the doubt right now.
I am sure they have some interesting things and toys up their sleeves that we are not being told.
