It's the second half of the season, so TNT (and to a lesser extent, NBC) return to the TV mix. This half will be NBC's swan song for NASCAR and TNT's swan song for the Busch Series.
We've got a full slate of racing this weekend, as the Busch boys and Buschwhackers run a 3/4ers race Saturday afternoon, and the Truck boys and girls run over at Kentucky Saturday night.

Lad has been reduced slightly, due to traffic. Cars are literally all the way around the track.

Juan Pablo Montoya fever has taken over already! Remember awhile back Juan and Jeff Gordon switched cars and took laps on the Indianapolis road course. Jeff went fast enough on his 3rd or so lap to qualify 11th for the USGP. There was no such comparison to make for Juan, but he did get Jeff's car to within 10th's of Jeff's time when he warmed the car up for Juan. Very impressive for both I thought. Tire management will be key for Juan to learn.
If Juan doesn't do well in the stock car, Ganassi has some nice IRL rides, and we know he can wheel it around an oval in one of those cars.

Can you imagine if some of the F-1 teams came to nascar? The euroweenies would have a fit.

The Flapper has a 41-foot wingspan and weighs 780 pounds with pilot and fuel. With its gas-powered engine pumping the wings up and down, the craft has accelerated to 50 mph on the ground.
They used jet assist to accelerate it to a speed it could leave the runway.

I have North'rn, unHappy, Biff, and Sorenson.
I changed from Robot to Biff at the last second.
I can't believe I am betting against FastKasey on 1.5 mile track; And against Robot at Chicagoland. 8-/

Mabe Juan will try the Indy/Coke double? I believe Indiana moving to Eastern Daylight Savings has closed the door on that being a possiblity as I understand it.
