Well, Lets see,

Drafted 1970, Basic, and first MOS - Ft Ord, CA Radio Op 05B, followed by second MOS, Ft Gordon GA, Radio Teletype, 05C, Nice trip across the Pacific to Viet Nam, with time served in Long Binh, Xuan Loc, Ham Tan, with MACV, and returned thru Saigon. Took about 2 yrs off, and joined the CA NG, in C Btry 1-144th FA as a 05C, however, they removed the RATT Rigs from the Battery's, and ended up being cross trainied as a 75B, clerk typest (The RATT Training came in handy, got a full time job with the CA NG, as a Technician, crossed trained again as a 76Y supply, somebody goofed big time and I ended up with a 13B, Cannon Cocker, moved to Battalion HQ's in 82, and worked the Service Battery of the 144th FA, in Santa Barbara CA the only 8 inch Battalion in CA, as the Food Service Advisor, and got the MOS of 92G.
Retired the Colors in 94/95, and stood up the 40th Engineer Brigade as the S1, when they moved to Valejo CA, did a short stint at Camp San Luis Obispo, where I got a 92A MOS, and then stood up the 128th Quartermaster Company (Airdrop Light), the only Parachute Rigger Company in the National Guard Inventory.
Plan on going to 7 Feb 2010. For those not familiar with some of the MOS's 05B and 05C, I believe have been retired, 75B has changed to 42 Series, 76Y is now 92Y.
