I think some folks are still in shock over the national referendum on immigration in Utah last week. Along with Tancredo, his PAC, the buchanan's and their PAC, many of the fringers invested a lot of time and effort into pumping up the "referendum"...only to get slapped down pretty solidly.

There are a few around claiming it was only a primary, nothing more. What a difference a week and the voters choice makes.

Naw, the first-line presstitutes and talking heads are away for a couple of weeks in Hilton Head, Paris, Murtha's Vineyard, Grand Cayman, the Geraldo Riviera, Acapulco, the Hamptons.......y'know, all those places the little people, the poor, the oppressed and the downtrodden go to vacation.

Someone posted an article last week saying that the Dims were starting to move away from Murtha like they have with Cindy Sheehan, in the wake of his recent MTP performance. Even they, it seems, realize just how badly Murtha's jumped the shark.

It was.
The elections in the Cali 50th District wasn't a primary though.
It was the real election, and the guy that was strongly anti-illegal immigrants won, despite his predecessor being convicted of corruption.

If I were President,

I'd announce that we would not seek the death penalty for treason for the person who disclosed this critical wartime intelligence secret to the times, if they came forward before we caught them.

And I'd say nothing more about it...

I really haven't paid any attention to the media today.

But last I checked the main stories were about the failed missile tests from North Korea, Americans' patriotism undampened, and the feud brewing between Kos and Liberal Dems like Lieberman on Conneticutt. If they have lessoned their attacks, it's because they have their own problems taking center stage with that primary and the NYT's. I'm sure it's only temporary..if this author's impression is accurate.

I believe you're correct. I also read that piece and don't know why it took them so long to realize it. There were many here that knew it when he came out with cold blooded killer fiasco.
