USN's Standard 1 Missile is capable of taking it down, they scored a hit on a simulated warhead in the terminal phase a few weeks ago...
My worry is that the DPK trashed and will blame it on us, use it as an excuse to start the march south...

The SM-1 is a much older missile. Our ship based ABM weapon is the SM-3.

SM2, not SM1. I don't think we even have any active deployment ships armed with the SM1 any more.
