By Sher Zieve On 4 July, Fox News reports that the US Northern Command (Northcom) in Colorado was placed on high alert. The status is said to be due to North Koreas plans to launch a long-range ballistic missile.
On Monday, North Korea announced that it was prepared to begin a nuclear war with the United States, if the US conducted a preemptive attack to stop its missile launch test. The missile is believed to be able to reach the US mainland. It is not currently known if Northcoms alert status is due to an imminent missile launch by North Korea.
I guess this explains the news from yesterday, that Cheyenne Mountain raised its security status to "Bravo-plus." Looks like we've been watching Li'l Kim's missile prep the whole time....
I believe the Mountain was a Bravo Plus which is two full rungs from "war", Third and a half of five.
