The Conservative Party under Thatcher wasn't conservative, it was more revolutionary. That's why it was termed Thatcherite. It was akin to strapping a speedboat engine to a dinghy; half a dozen leaders have tried and failed to mend the rudder since. W.r.t. the British press - only the Mirror and the Guardian have been consistently supportive of Labour. The Murdoch press only went Labour in the late '90s because Blair was clearly going to win, and it suits Murdoch to have backed the winner.
London will be mostly "minority" by 2010.
Do you have a cite for this demography? Anyway, what's wrong with "minorities"? Can millions of such people not be British citizens?

And whats wrong with the Brit minorities? Well the subject of this thread is US bashing and as the US is the only superpower trying to control Islamofascists, it is discouraging to see that the Brits are against us.

And as Brits are increasingly non-western, western bashing types, thus is the problem. And the other issue is that Brits have been subjected to decades of leftist propaganda that has virtually bankrupted that culture.
