Liberal prima-donna columnist launches vicious personal attack on Joey Vento for asking customers to order cheesesteaks in english!
To: Billfromphilly
Perhaps we should demand that she print her column in every known language.

He should have demanded everybody order in Italian.
Surely there is nothing wrong with that.

Sorry---new to this posting business. I thought Freepers would be interested in this above column, where one of philly's most precious liberals decided to attack three weeks after the "controversy" over a "please speak english" sign erupted. She goes thru a littany of common name-calling while chiding Vento on his language skills. Don't know how to make a URL for you, but the witch's column can be easily found at philly.com (Image section), today's print edition. Should you want to respond to her, her email address is kheller@phillynews.com ---she views herself as too important a celebrity to ever answer an email (unless of course, it is highly complimentary). But you can bet she reads every one of them. This ding-bat caused a national fuss not long ago by dissing parents who sunk to vacationing with kids at DisneyWorld.

Are you still there Bill from Philly?

I thought we burned all those people in the eighteen hundreds.
To: AmericanMade1776
Yes...I'm still here and this is my first day on the site as a member.

Fact is that he's doing more business than ever. The people have spoken and the haters can go to heck...or wherever it is they go to dream up new offenses.
Clearly this poor soul suffers from POS......Perpetually Offended Syndrome.

I think it is a violation of the civil rights of Spanish speaking Philadelphians that the Inquirer does not publish this woman's column in Spanish alongside the English version.
In fact, it is only right that it have a Spanish version of all its stories alongside the English ones.
And in Chinese too. And Arabic. And Portugese!
