The Biden Factor By Salena Zito TRIBUNE-REVIEW Sunday, July 2, 2006
Blunt, charismatic, smart and blessed with a can't-help-yourself appeal that crosses most geo-social-economic-political lines.
Meet Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., long-time member of the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary and 13 key subcommittees, from border security to crimes and drugs.
And Democrat presidential candidate in 2008.
"Am I running? Yes," he told me during an interview ranging from the all-important upcoming midterms to his bid for the nation's highest office.

The Beast will eat Bidens lunch. Not that the Beast is formidable (nationally).
Now thats a load of bull squeeze...
Hope your skin is thick and your undies flame-proof! Pardon the crudity on this thread.
Here is the real Biden: >>>
"Biden Taken to Task for Fund-Raiser ('02 fundraiser at home of pro-Iran regime lobbyist)"
Accepted $24,000 from a pro-Iranian regime lobbyist in California.
"several participants who paid to attend the event stated that Biden ... delivered a sweeping condemnation of President George W. Bush's "Axis of Evil" formula. "
""I can't believe that Sen. Biden would have a fund-raiser at the home of a pro-Tehran lobbyist two weeks after the White House made it abundantly clear that Iran was aiding the al-Qaeda forces in Afghanistan," Moore said. "Frankly, I am appalled that Sen. Biden would have the audacity as the Senate Foreign Relations chairman to take money from a lobbyist supporting a country that brutalizes women, ignores human rights and endorses terrorism.""

Someone pointed out the his youngest child is 25. Good grief, do they all still live at home? LOL
thanks... i am salena zito..excuse me while i go throw up with that thought.
well, i was dead wrong about this place, and it's people
haha thanks
pretty brutal but what the hell i have been a republican in Pittsburgh for-ever, worked for Santorum and Bush so my skin...pretty thick...imagine the abuse
:)
cheers
You go girl. "or just be a single minded buffoon and make blanket statements about nothing." Too many gratuitous opinions here. Some need to realize that just holding and expressing an opinion is a matter of supreme indifference to the rest of us, unless you have some interesting information to back it up that the rest don't have. In this case, actually meeting and interviewing a man, yourself qualifies and should not have to face all this cretin prejudice.
To top it off, you are dead wrong about Biden.
haha thanks!
will say this, been a republican forever, and when i take my shots against the D's i am never treated this way by them, in fact they ususally agree with my shots...interview an D and i am now Satan's handmaiden, funny, an interesting phenom
I will be interviewing all of them this summer so i suppose i will refrain from posting them here because i become a rhetorical Monica giver...yikes is somegoing to ask me to pass the cigar?
:)
This will keep Hillary up nights. :)
Colin Powell is on the cover of this month's AARP magazine. What will he do next? What if his wife decided his running for President wasn't such a bad thing? Would Dems fall all over themselves in the rush to sign him up?
thanks
well i was not advocating him, just wanted to show how he is going to run and what he was thinking
i am italian, i think just like they famously say in the godfather, "keep your friends close..."
if the GOP does not know what your opposition is up to or how they plan on staking their claim then they stumble without knowledge, i would rather be informed on what hyperbole is out there and how it going to be presented then just be negative, you glean nothing from that
Let me put a plug in for Smokin' Joe......on second thought, he's got enough already...
Biden's definitely a dark horse in the Presidential stakes since he's not Hill, not Gore, Obama, or even Edwards. Or Kerry. That said, it's a nice piece. (You were gentle with him.) As for FR, you weren't wrong about this place and its people. Just pull out the arrows and write on!
