Nothing wrong with a GER-FRA final, remember the great game in 82.

So we´ve seen the new world champion yesterday or today.

PORTUGAL
FRANCE
ITALY AND
GERMANY

are the best four teams in this tournament.

You bet! Not a French fan here, but I'm so glad for Zidane. He just showed some of the most brilliant play I've seen this tournament.

Best of all, this guarantees a Euro champion and now Europe and South America will be tied at 9 WC Titles apiece.

The Frogs will play the Krauts in the final. The frog eaters will beat the sausage eaters.

Going into the tournament I didn't care for France, but how can you not root for Zidane. They've won me over.

Not that we love the French - in fact they did poor in the pre-finals - but Zidane is great. And I think they´re easier to beat than Brazil for the new German style of playing soccer.

Germany V Italy

Portugal v France

It sounds like a rematch of the Napoleonic wars and The Wars of Austrian Succession.

Given my horrendous predictions up to this point, I will nevertherless go with jjbrouwers's France v Germany in final.

Only one goal all day. Wow.

Good commentary on Zuidane.. you're right, American commentary isn't nearly that good.
