This same thing happened in Lubbock last year, the lady got off with no charges pressed against her. I suppose she will live with such tragic event the rest of her life, but the poor child had no choice.

This happened in Dallas about 5 years back. A waitress at a restaurant left her child in the back seat and about 4 hours later, shoppers discovered it. It was too late for the child.

Why again, do they have to be put in the backseat, out of sight, out of mind? Just sadly stupid on the part of everyone involved.

It's a terrible thing to think but if there are never any charges against a mother for this, then it could be the perfect crime for a crazed mother who didn't want her child anymore. In fact I think I saw something like this on Law and Order.

This is devastating. That woman will be in her own personal prison for the rest of her life. Jail would be a break, considering what she will endure. God help her. God help her.

There was a family in our church in which the father did this...he was stressed out, had a big meeting that day at work...Not that that is any excuse at all. He is still in hell 6 years later. The family didn't survive it, divorce etc...Horrible for the child, no peace for the parent.
