(CBS4 News) WEST PALM BEACH Sources have confirmed to CBS4 News that conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh has been detained at Palm Beach International Airport for the possible possession of illegal prescription drugs Monday evening.

Limbaugh was returning on a flight from the Dominican Republic when officials found the drugs, among them Viagra.

Limbaugh entered a plea deal back in April in a previous case where his charge of fraud to conceal information to obtain prescriptions was dropped under the condition he continue undergoing treatment for addiction.

Limbaugh had admitted to being addicted to pain killers on his radio program and had entered a rehabilitation program prior to that arrest.

Read this carefully. He is ALLOWED to Have SOME prescription drugs correct??? This could all be bogus. I will bet that his drugs are perfectly legal.

Remember when Hillary's motorcade crashed a police checkpoint at an airport in NY, hit a Deputy, etc, and nothing came of it? Maybe that was also a big lie (yea, right), or maybe Rush's people have done some great damage control (called in Lanny Davis LOL). Whatever, I hope it all dies down. It sure took that treasonous Bill bas*ard from NYTimes off the front pages.

Thanks for that news. Actually, the majority of posts have been suspecting the validity of the original story. Yah, a few jumped the shark. This is FR after all.

What you say is correct. But take a look at those that just took that story at face value. Most of them have been here for years and should know better than to believe the MSM without some serious validation. At least, you would think they would have learned by now.

We all bitch at the Dims for similar things, particularly with our military, yet here we have long term FR members basically doing the same thing.

Fortunately, as you point out, they are in a minority. The only surprise is, as I have already mentioned, most of them have been members for years and should have learned long ago not to trust the first source when it is the MSM, especially in something as obvious as this.

Viagra is a fairly weak drug commonly given for pain.

Is this true?
