June 25, 2006 -- A Brooklyn anesthesiologist callously ditched his wife and three kids, leaving them homeless after he secretly sold their house and fled the country with all their money, the wife alleges. Dr. Raihan Chowdhury was deemed a fugitive Wednesday for ignoring repeated court orders to provide for his hapless family.
His wife, Sharmin Sultana, who gave up her career as a gynecologist to become a full-time mom, is now broke and staying at a women's shelter with the couple's two daughters and toddler son.

Shamnesty bill. I like that! We're already seeing emergency rooms close down. I've read stories about the problems Canada is experiencing with their health care system.
Doctors are not being paid enough when you put the cost of paying back college loans plus carrying around adequate malpractice insurance. Some might debate that. Every time an illegal stiffs the emergency room, they also stiff the treating physician.
I'm really resenting the fact that I need to see a doctor, but won't run up bills I know I can't pay. Others don't seem to have a problem with that.
LOL!
Well some of us still see a difference between a male ass and a female ass. And at the risk of sounding french, let me add "Vive la difference!"
In Oklahoma we must have the signatures (witnessed) of all owners of the home in order to sell it.
That's another slap in the face....free education for those who are not here legally. My understanding is that a foreign student had to show ability to pay. Either by the student's government or parents. Unless an American or legal resident earns scholarships, you pay for that college education!
I'm not sure how restrictive the rules are for foreign born physicians, but the unions have been known to freeze out most competition. The competition they cannot freeze are illegals taking over the trades, especially building trades.
Saw a really bad story here on FR, recently about medical treatment in Canada. A couple learned that their unborn child had died in the uterus. An induction needed to be performed. The only problem was, there were no hospital beds available anywhere to actually deliver the child. The parents ended up crossing the border into the US. I can't remember all the details, but it was a pretty sad commentary on Canadian health care.
