President Bush Job Approval (44%)
Rasmussen Reports ^ | 6-23-06 | Staff

Forty-four percent (44%) of Americans approve of the way that George W. Bush is performing his role as President. That’s the highest rating he has received since April 14. This update is based upon nightly telephone interviews and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. With a three-percentage point margin of sampling error, this spike may be little more than statistical noise.

Yes, I think so. If he nullified "Eminent Domain" and secured the borders, he would probably get a 40% elevation in his approval ratings.

So his EO is sufficient to get that first 20% bounce?

"70-80%"

I agree with everything you said, except it would be about 55%.

He could have at least gone on record to voice his dissent and disaproval of that socialistic decision. As far as I know, he didn't (if he did, I missed seeing it). I agree with the previous poster. What a wasted opportunity to gain back some support.

Excellent point! Hahaha! Funny how it's always just a statistical fluke when his numbers go up, eh?

I know I don't have to explain this to you, as you're well aware of the MSM underminings, but frankly, I'm sick of these approval ratings every five minutes on our president.

If you read Lincoln's bio you find out real quick that his approval rating right on up to Gettysburg was probably in the 20s...

We were attacked on 911 and we have a president who not only took it to the enemy in Afghan...but then in Iraq. Diplomatically he's also winning in N. Kor...and with patience the people of Iran will rise up too.

Thank God for him.

No, forty-four percent (44%) of Americans stupid enough to waste 20 minutes answering pointed questions on the phone approve of the way that George W. Bush is performing his role as President.

You serious? Any POTUS can be impeached on so many ground, that's the nature of the job, but especially Bush for exposing CIA agents, for WMD claims, for ignoring The Constitution and not protecting the borders and most grievous of them all: for supporting North American Union and working on ending the sovereignty of the USA! Had enough?!

That's the difference between a phone poll on weekends and a phone poll done during the week -- 12% (32% vs. 44%).

Notice it's not BIG NEWS, like it was when his approval was dropping. No agenda here by the MSM. /sarc

I know. NOT A DAY went by in March or April when the media wasn't masturbating over Bush at 35,34,33 etc. Now they could not care less.

No wonder I haven't been seeing Bush's ratings on CNN lately.

...and now he's losing a point every day, down to 41%. I don't know what to make of Rasmussen's presidential polls.
