BUT...given that sociopathy appears to have a partial genetic element
(or influence),
if these bad-boys of the boatlift spawned some progeny before being locked up...
it may have some bearing on what goes on today.

Even if you disagree with Stout's assertions on incidence of
sociopathy in Miami, the rest of the book is an interesting look
at that group of humans able to live without the impediment of guilt.

And I wasn't knocking Miami or any particular group.
Miami just had the misfortune to be the recipient of a nasty trick by Castro.
And after spending 10 years in Los Angeles...I know there are

Moral equivalency at its finest. Mass murdering, crazed, America-hating 9/11 hijackers tossed in a salad with anti-Communist, anti-Castro Cubans who've engaged in plots such as. . .the Bay of Pigs.
