We need to take prisoners and take them out of the control of the Iraqi Government. The Iraqis keep releasing THOUSANDS of prisioners, many who our troops have died trying to capture. Or we could allow some Shiite on Sunni prison riots to break out

We have bigger enemies than the insurgents in Iraq, we have a soon to be Nuclear Iran
it time to MOBILIZE THIS COUNTRY asap!!!. Had we done that in 2001 we could have at least 5 million men under arms now.

Instead I look around, and I see thousands and thousands of fit intelligent young men NOT joining the military. Now - the facts are that not everyone volunteered for WW2 either, the majority were drafted, we need to do the same in this supposed war or risk creating a generation that becomes accustomed to and acquiesces to cowardliness.

But in the final analyisis, if we don't fight with all our weaponry and tactics, if we handcuff our troops, like we did in Nam then OF COURSE THEY WON'T ENLIST and .....
