I'm back!  Having survived Boston (with the special pleasure of meeting Alas Babylon!) I can now return to my official duties... sharing my priceless and spot on opinions!!!!!! (please remember to note my tag line)

The most interesting guest to me will be Tony Snow.  Based on the majority of Google News hits for "Tony Snow" it looks like the long knives are out over the "2,500 is a number" remark (forget the rest of the statement, just spin the number as an attack).  This is a big time test for Tony.

I'm particularly proud of the news links I dug out searching on both John Podesta and Simon Rosenberg.  I got a new perspective on the machinations in the Democrat party from those articles.  I think their on air meeting this weekend is a significant political event and could very well go a long way to determine whether the Democrats are united for the elections this fall and in '08.  Podesta may be making the opening move by the Hillary camp to the Dean/MoveOn.ORG camp on network television.  I also find it interesting that Rosenberg, Deans chief rival for the DNC post, has emerged as one of "his" guys, at least being presented as such at the Kos convention.  Perhaps this is the beginning of a grand alliance within the Democrat left?

The dominant meme appears to be that Bush has had a good month in Iraq, so far, but it's now time to get back to all of the bad things that the media wants to concentrate on.  Oh, and the Democrats may be totally in disarray and not have a brain in their heads, but it's obvious to everyone (in the media) that they're going to win in November... isn't it?

There is a wealth of amusement in your links. Here is Rahm Emanuel on Ann Coulter: "Not a single Republican elected official has stepped forward to reject her hate, so I have to conclude they are comfortable with her as their spokesperson.

So according to him, Ann Coulter, a private citizen, is now an official spokesperson for the Republican party. Does that make Larry Johnson, who said that Karl Rove is so terrible, his mother committed suicide, an official spokesperson for the Dems? Rahm also said that Ann is afraid of the Jersey Girls. Obviously, he does not know Ann.
