Seven-Year-Old Beaten at School For Father's Stand Against Homosexual Activism
LifeSiteNews ^ | 6/14/06 | John-Henry Westen and John Jalsevac

LEXINGTON, Massachusetts, June 14, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) - On May 17—the two-year anniversary of same-sex "marriage" in Massachusetts—the first-grade son of a prominent pro-family advocate was dragged and beaten behind the Estabrook Elementary School in Lexington during recess, receiving multiple blows to the chest, stomach, and genital area.

Jacob Parker, the 7-year-old who was attacked, is the son of David Parker.  LifeSiteNews.com readers will recall that David Parker objected to homosexual curriculum in his son's kindergarten class.  At a meeting with the principal of the school last year Parker requested that the school inform him of when homosexual discussions would take place, so he could exclude his son from the activity. The principal refused and Parker said he would not leave until his request was granted. School administration called the police and had Parker charged with trespassing. (see coverage: http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2005/apr/05042910.html)

The school system has since continued to refuse to notify parents of such material being presented in class. On April 27, 2006, Parker, his wife, and another family filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the school system.

According to Mr. Parker, school authorities determined from an investigation into the assault that the beating was indeed planned and premeditated.

Mr. Parker described the incident at the school saying:

"During the recess period, a group of 8-10 kids suddenly surrounded Jacob and grabbed him. He was taken around the corner of the school building out of sight of the patrolling aides, with the taunting and encouragement of other kids. Jacob was then positioned against the wall for what appeared to be a well planned and coordinated assault.”

According to Parker, his son related that one student in particular performed the actual physical assault while, “many children stood, watched silently, and did nothing as the beating commenced.”

"The group of kids surrounded Jacob and he was beaten and punched. Then, as he fell to the ground, another child was heard saying to the group of children, 'Now you all can finish him off,' and as he was down on his hands and knees, the beating continued on his back. Then, fortunately, one little girl ran to contact the oblivious playground aides to stop it.

"Four of the attackers were from Jacob's first-grade class; the others were from other classes at Estabrook.

"The teachers' aide apparently determined that since she could not see external bleeding, and since Jacob apparently was not hit in the face, she did not send him to she school nurse." The family was immediately notified of the incident.

Speaking to LifeSiteNews, Parker speculated that the cause of the attack is most likely what he called “displaced aggression.” “If children hear venomous things from their parents, the children do internalize this,” he said.

“I certainly don’t want to vilify the children in this,” he said. “We understand that skirmishes happen on the playground. It’s taking the child around out of view of the aides, and the number of children that stood around watching that concerns us.”

Parker noted that his conflict with the school over homosexuality is well known among the students.  "We are aware that the school administration sent notices home with all the young children concerning the Parker arrest, the 'King and King' incident and the federal lawsuit," he said. “They must know that the children read them.”

He pointed out that the date of the attack--the two year aniversary of same-sex "marriage" in Massachusetts--cannot be a coincidence.

Families attend an anti-David Parker demonstration. The topic of Parker's beliefs has become so widespread among the students that Jacob says he overheard his fellow classmates ruminating that perhaps their current principle—who has resigned her position to take up a job elsewhere—was leaving the job because of Jacob’s father. Members of the community itself have organized public demonstrations specifically against Parker, in which their children have taken part. One of these demonstrations is pictured on the right. While prominently displayed in the student library are the back issues of the Lexington Minuteman that specifically deal with Parker’s case, for the children to read.

“We’re trying to be patient and tolerant," said Parker when asked if he was considering pulling his son out of the school. "We’re trying to hang on to the notion that the schools are for every child and for everyone. I don’t feel that we should have to leave for an injustice.”

But he added that “There are limits to how much patience we can have. I certainly understand why more and more parents are pulling their children out of public schools.”

Ironically, the school prides itself on its long-time involvement in various "Safe School" programs, which are geared to creating school environments "safe" for students who are homosexual.

Parker asked, "Isn't the school supposed to be addressing safety and preventing bullying and violence? Or are such programs only focused on children with homosexual parents? You can be certain that if this happened to a child with homosexual parents more would be made of this and that 'lessons' teaching tolerance and diversity of homosexual behavior normalization would be forced upon the young children."

The school and larger community are deeply divided over the Parker's stand against pro-homosexual indoctrination.  A group has been formed in Lexington to counter Parker's efforts.  The 'Lexington Cares' group maintains an anti-Parker website and has conducted anti-Parker letter writing campaigns and demonstrations.

Calls to Estabrook school were not returned by press time.

Though this all does make sense. Given the pathetic failure that is the modern democratic party and it's total lack of any ideas or solutions to any problems, beating up on kids is just about their speed. It's about all they can do now a days. For the liberals's next act, they'll start putting bowls of freeon in the back yards of conservatives for their pets to drink.

Yeah where are they? I can only hope maybe they didn't hear about it yet. Lots of Freepers better be calling Rush and Hannity this week and next until they address it. There needs to be some h**l to pay for this crime.

Is MACVSOG68 a troll? Sure doesn't seem like a conservative to me. But I'm still new so what do I know? :)

Boy it sure is. Makes me sad because one thing I've always wanted to do and haven't yet is go see the U.S.S. Constitution, but given the current pathetic state of massachusetts and most of it's souless occupants, I'd sooner jump off a cliff than set foot in that slime pit. It's no better than France in my opinion, look who they have for Senators. That says it all. The founders from mass. would cry indeed if they were alive to see what a waste of space mass. has become. Tragic.

Man, I think I would just have to beat the hell out of some parents if they did that to my child.

You can't imagine how mad this makes me.

Congratulations to you, sir, because you have the distinction of being the biggest idiot I have ever seen post on FR. You make oblique references to Parker's actions last year as if there were anything wrong with a parent challenging a school and its officials when they dare to try and feed a child pro-homosexual propaganda.

I'm beginning to think that the only solution to the homosexual problem is turning you people over to the Taliban and letting them administer a sort of justice that our civilization has become too weak to exact.

How can a play ground be that big that nearly a dozen students forcibly leading another student off can't be spotted? Just thinking of that in my head looks suspicious. And I sure remember play grounds in schools when I was a kid and they weren't even a half acre in size. I find it hard to believe that play grounds in Massachusetts are bigger than ones in Texas. And it's even harder to believe that the teacher supposedly watching the kids on recess didn't notice that many kids missing, or hear anything in the time the poor little guy was getting his clock cleaned. He had to be screaming. I doubt he was biting on a leather bit. Some adult was complicit in this. There is no way these kdis just did this on their own. Not at that age. Not possible. My wife's a teacher and she can't even imagine how this is possible, and based on her psychological training, she doesn't believe kids of that age range are capable of that without adult coaxing either. Even liberal brain washing doesn't account for that. SOMEONE of the 20 or up age persuasion had an active role in this somehow. I'd bet on it.

Of course didn't you know? It's okay to teach 6 year olds about Bobby's dad and dad and Becky's mom and mom, but don't you dare try to tell them about God or any of that Christian stuff! School is not the place for that! We're at the Mad Hatters tea party for sure now. Queer lifestyle is okay to teach six and seven year olds, but not God or prayer to Him. And parents are blatantly denied the Constitutional and God given right to have final say over what their kids learn or don't learn in schools THEIR TAXES pay for, and if you demand it be stopped, YOU get arrested. Madness. Sheer utter unadulterated lack of any sanity or common sense or intelligence.

MAC has what the liberal press and that school district has on this. A gay agenda and nothing to say in defense of it.

This Parker family represents the line of thinking of a solid 65% to 75% of the American people, ALL the American people not just the ones registered as Republicans. That's what these radical liberals don't seem to get. Or they get it and just don't care. They have no compunctions about subjugating the majority if they can get away with it. Obviously now violence against the children of conservatives is one of their tactics.

I can assure you of this -- if that ever happened to a child of mine, I'd make the negligent supervision claim my personal hobby.

I agree with you, and have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that adults in authority at that school are complicit in this beating.

Exactly right, the kid that was beaten was the straight (only 7 for God's sake!) seven year old child of good married Christian parents who oppose THEIR CHILD being taught the radical homosexual agenda in school. So, the aclu and msm and all other liberals don't mind that it happened. I bet most libs are glad it happened and smirk at it hoping that will be a lesson to most conservatives to shut up and not challenge their agenda. They picked the wrong people to start a p*****g contest with. I'm a Christian man not quick to anger and I believe God has the ultimate and final judgement, but God help the sorry SOB that ***** with my kids. I'll hasten their meeting with the Almighty if they do. Conservatives all over the country will never forget this as they learn about it. THIS will not be forgotten as it circulates around the conservative masses. THIS is why a Republicans Congress is of the utmost importance. Replace RINOs when we can. Keep democrats out of power NOW!

EXCELLENT post 177. THAT proves that the Parkers were totally in the right in this. Especially the part where Governor Romney stated clearly that the Parkers had the right under Mass. law to parental notification if there was objectionable material THEY deemed inapropriate for their child and the legal right to opt their child OUT of that material. So clearly the school district was knowingly, willfully, and deliberately in violation of the law. NO WAY arond that fact. They had an agenda, and to heck with the law as far as they were concerned.

Any parent not used to homosexual materials in school would likely react negatively.

Your premise is absurd and as usual pro-homosexual.

The homosexual materials are abnormal --WHY should anyone be used to homosexual materials in school in the first place. "Parents" use to such materials are the exception and probably homosexuals first and parents second. Negative reaction homosexual materials is a normal reaction to the abnormal; ESPECIALLY, when specifically we discuss a 6 or 7 year old child being exposed to such garbage that you yourself imply normal to get use to...

Any parent not used to homosexual materials in school would likely react negatively. For that, even though Parker knew what was there, I can accept his initial reaction, because I would likely have reacted similarly. From that point on, I don't. I know he is the hero of many here, but anyone who puts their kids into the cauldron he did deserves no respect, let alone hero status.

"Start judging now, because you will need the practice" (1Cor. 6:2-5). Remember, "he who is spiritual judges all things. For... we have the mind of Christ" (1 Cor. 2:15-16). And God will reward those who judge, and do the hard work: "Those who rebuke the wicked will have delight, and a good blessing will come upon them." (Prov. 24:25).

IT's just flat blatantly criminal that Mr. Parker is going to trial when it should be the Superintendant, Principal and others at the school on trial for blatantly denying the Parkers their STATE LAW given right to parental notification when it commes to material they BELIEVE to be objectionable and the LAWFUL RIGHT to REFUSE their child be exposed to it. HOW IS THIS EVEN HAPPENING? Thhe school district refused to obey State law! And then had him arrested when he went to the school demanding that they obey that law! Is this America or North Korea the Parker's are living in? Because from where I sit Massachusetts is looking an awful lot like the kind of law and order I'd expect from PyongYang, not a state in the U.S. of A.

AFFIRMATIVE

On this homosexual topic anyway...

Anything homosexual and MACVSOG68 will passive aggressively argue its merits or at a minimum argue against opposing it head on or by straw man diversionary tact...

I know pro-homosexual trolling when when I see it as I ping out the homosexual agenda ping list and have with experience become well acquainted with pro-homosexual moonbat logic...
