Closing arguments wrapped up around 1:00 p.m. Monday afternoon and jurors began deliberating in the federal fraud trial of state worker Georgia Thompson.
Thompson is accused of steering a contract for state travel services to Adelman Travel, a Milwaukee-based firm.

Even up to yesterday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel was spinning it as nothing is going to happen to this woman, and the charges are just politically motivated.
