Ann Coulter criticized four of the women whose husbands died on 9/11, and now a congressmen from the New York/New Jersey area has written a scathing letter-signed by nearly two dozen other congressmen-to the author.
In Coulter's new book "Godless: The Curch of Liberalism," she wrote, "I've never seen people enjoying their husbands' deaths so much," and that the four were "reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by giref-arazzis."
In response, House Democrats from Long Island and New York City have signed their names to a letter drafted by Rep. Steve Israeil (D-Hungtington) demanding that Coulter apologize.

Congressional letterhead??
This could get very interesting if it was found that
Congressional aids or interns were ordered to take part
in this.

"House Democrats from Long Island and New York City have signed their names to a letter drafted by Rep. Steve Israeil (D-Hungtington) demanding that Coulter apologize."Just as soon as Al Gore apologizes to Pres Bush for saying that "he betrayed this nation! He played on our fears!"
And just as soon as Rhandi Rhoades apologizes for saying that Dick Cheney should take George Bush out on the lake and shoot him.
Typical Democrats. Selective outrage. My hope is that Ann will tell them to get stuffed.

She tore the un-opened letter in half when it was handed to her. Nah, that would be wasteful. I would definitely frame it.

I'm no huge fan of Coulter, but government officials are demanding she apologize?
How Soviet of them.

They'd do better spending their time getting rid of crooks who keep bribe money in freezers.
Yep, they'll go after thought crimes and "chip on the shoulder" harpies, but a real crook? Nah....

Two-dozen Dem congressmen vs. Ann Coulter. Now this is hardly a fair fight.
...the Dems will need to beef up their side.

The Democrat Party should apologize to the American People for siding with the enemy since 9/11.
To: WestVirginiaRebel
Ann has to do what the Republicans ought to but haven't the intestinal fortitude to do.
Funny, they don't deny her charges about them otherwise. I guess they know they are guilty.

thing is, Ann's assessment of the Jersey Girls is spot-on. Their behavior during the laughable hearings told it all.

She should respond with a pretty little Thank You note thanking them for helping her promote her latest book (#1 Amazon) by giving it priceless, free publicity.
