Thank you. I need to do more though, and honestly, I always feel as if I haven't done enough. Thank goodness that somehow, someway, they got this despicable thug. He gets to join his victims now and he can explain to them the "righteous" of his cause. Somehow I don't think they'll agree.

To: Protect the Bill of Rights

It would be Stephen Hadley, Condi's replacement, who would take a call meant for the President, on a foreign national security matter, any hour of the day or night. Then he would take it from there. I can't think of anyone other than Andy Card before, and now Josh Bolton, who would be called first about a domestic crisis. They try not to wake the President if they feel it isn't necessary, because they know he needs sleep in order to function. He is an early riser anyway, so let him sleep 2 or 3 more hours is their attitude, unless it really is something he has to know right that minute.

What's wrong with posting things from DU? I've seen plenty of things posted here from DU. Is this a new policy?

The DU lunatics are calling into C-Span now and labelling Republicans as fascists. They're really upset that this terrorist is dog meat. Looks like the death of Zarqawi will be a day of mourning at DU and the NYT.

I recognize your name, I'm glad you do care packages for the troops. Peeing in your cereal is not to be taken literally.

I have been active on FR for many years now, and sometimes there are occasions when getting a little bit of DU response archived for posterity is a good thing. It lets us see what we are up against. Today is one of these days. The early responses are always the best. And you have to get this stuff saved early so it doesn't disappear in the memory hole.

I appreciate what you do for the troops, as a Cub Scout leader I have done the letters and care packages too, as well as giving money to others who are putting these together. I would be happy to donate to your next care package if you will FReepmail me how to send you a contribution.

Like I said, I'm not trying to start a fight.

Oh, you got professors? We got interviews with imams at the local mosques. Of course, they were glad the terrorist is gone. But no women were screaming and "ul"ing in the background.
