Ann Coulter Fires Back at Hillary Clinton

Conservative author Ann Coulter is firing back at Sen. Hillary Clinton, after the former first lady attacked her for being "vicious [and] mean-spirited" towards a group of politically active 9/11 widows.

"I think if she's worried about people being mean to women she should have a talk with her husband," Coulter told radio host Sean Hannity, who was hosting a book signing for the conservative firebrand on Long Island.

"This is, I remind you, Bill Clinton's wife," Coulter added. "[And I'm the one who's] mean to women?"

Earlier in the day, Mrs. Clinton complained about Coulter's attacks on the Jersey Girls, a group of 9/11 widows who blamed President Bush for the attacks that killed their husbands and who campaigned for John Kerry in 2004.

"Perhaps [Coulter's] book should have been called 'Heartless,"' the top Democrat said. "I know a lot of the widows and family members who lost loved ones on 9/11. They never wanted to be a member of a group that is defined by the tragedy of what happened."

An angry Clinton added that she found it "unimaginable that anyone in the public eye could launch a vicious, mean-spirited attack on people whom I've known over the last four and a half years to be concerned deeply about the safety and security of our country."

But Coulter told Hannity: "She may know the 9/11 widows, but you and I know Juanita Broaddrick" - a reference to one of Mr. Clinton's accusers.

Coulter delivered her broadsides against Mrs. Clinton as a phalanx of TV and print reporters looked on.

The heavy coverage was prompted by the New York Daily News, which frontpaged Coulter's comments on the Jersey Girls in Wednesday editions.

Do you have anything to say about the shameless and crass four Jersey widows and their efforts to undermine the War on Terror and become wealthy in the process? Or is all your bile reserved for the conservative in this story, Ann Coulter, who pointed it out because she apparently has the courage and concern that you lack?

How are the Jersey widows any different than Cindy Sheehan? Why is it evil to point out there is no difference?

Do you agree with her point that these widows are reveling in the fact that their husbands are dead?

If you believe that is fact then back it up.. give me facts that these widows are delighting in the death of their husbands.

Ann Coulter certainly didn't provide us any facts on that point.

"I can't believe people are supporting her on this."

Why not? The liberals make their living using and/or creating victims. Without "victims," there would be no Jesse Jackson, no CAIR, no La Raza, no NAACP...

There's a place in this debate for Ann Coulter. She is doing a great job carrying out her role. We're very fortunate that we have a few like Coulter who are willing to go bare-knuckles with some truly evil people who have been sucker-punching America for decades without being called on it.

Look it up yourself. I don't do other people's research for them. Ann Coulter said she feels horrible for all women who lost husbands on 9/11. BUT...these women have politicized their grief. Once that happens, they are fair game.

You must be joking. Are you blind and deaf? Have you been living in a cave since 9/11?

No, she isn't. She's had it up to her eyeballs. And so have I.

No, she isn't. She's had it up to her eyeballs. And so have I.

And she is laughing all the way to the bank. She is either completely nuts OR she is playing you and others like a fiddle. She keeps talking about Christianity in books with her picture on them dressed like a 2 dollar hooker. She is 40 years old for Gods sake and she sure as hell isn't built for mini-skirts. Her rage is not righteous it is just bitchy. She needs to grow the hell up. I don't care if the Jersey Girls are the lowest form of life on earth, they may be but Ann is no different than the Phelps crazies when she comes out with crap like this.

If she wants a place in the debate then she needs to apologize for her comments.

AN OPEN LETTER TO HILLARY CLINTON,

BY JUANITA BROADDRICK

'DO YOU REMEMBER?'

SUNDAY OCT 15, 2000

As I watched Rick Lazio's interview on Fox News this morning, I felt compelled to write this open letter to you, Mrs. Clinton. Brit Hume asked Mr. Lazio's views regarding you as a person and how he perceived you as a candidate. Rick Lazio did not answer the question, but I know that I can. You know it, too.

I have no doubt that you are the same conniving, self-serving person you were twenty-two years ago when I had the misfortune to meet you. When I see you on television, campaigning for the New York senate race, I can see the same hypocrisyin your face that you displayed to me one evening in 1978. You have not changed.

I remember it as though it was yesterday. I only wish that it were yesterday and maybe there would still be time to do something about what your husband, Bill Clinton, did to me. There was a political rally for Mr. Clinton's bid for governor of Arkansas. I had obligated myself to be at this rally prior to my being assaulted by your husband in April, 1978. I had made up my mind to make an appearance and then leave as soon as the two of you arrived. This was a big mistake, but I was still in a state of shock and denial. You had questioned the gentleman who drove you and Mr. Clinton from the airport. You asked him about me and if I would be at the gathering.

Do you remember? You told the driver, "Bill has talked so much about Juanita", and that you were so anxious to meet me. Well, you wasted no time. As soon as you entered the room, you came directly to me and grabbed my hand. Do you remember how you thanked me, saying "we want to thank you for everything that you do for Bill". At that point, I was pretty shaken and started to walk off. Remember how you kept a tight grip on my hand and drew closer to me? You repeated your statement, but this time with a coldness and look that I have seen many times on television in the last eight years. You said, "Everything you do for Bill". You then released your grip and I said nothing and left the gathering.

What did you mean, Hillary? Were you referring to my keeping quiet about the assault I had suffered at the hands of your husband only two weeks before? Were you warning me to continue to keep quiet? We both know the answer to that question.

Yes, I can answer Brit Hume's question. You are the same Hillary that you were twenty years ago. You are cold, calculating and self-serving. You cannot tolerate the thought that you will soon be without the power you have wielded for the last eight years. Your effort to stay in power will be at the expense of the state of New York. I only hope the voters of New York will wake up in time and realize that Hillary Clinton is not an honorable or an honest person.

I will end by asking if you believe the statements I made on NBC Dateline when Lisa Myers asked if I had been assaulted and raped by your husband? Or perhaps, you are like Vice-President Gore and did not see the interview.

The constitution was silent on who could vote.

There was no need for the 19th admendment. All the states could have given women the vote without the admendment.

Same with giving 18 yr old the vote.

THAT'S RIGHT! THANK YOU! Now I know how to answer my professor! ;)

No.. actually I can point out to one specific sentence to know that Clinton lied.

"I did not have sexual relations with that woman."

Now it's your turn. Give me one quote from a single one of these widows that said "I'm glad my husband is dead so that I can speak out against Bush."

Show me the money baby.. show me the money.
