Ann Coulter Fires Back at Hillary Clinton

Conservative author Ann Coulter is firing back at Sen. Hillary Clinton, after the former first lady attacked her for being "vicious [and] mean-spirited" towards a group of politically active 9/11 widows.

"I think if she's worried about people being mean to women she should have a talk with her husband," Coulter told radio host Sean Hannity, who was hosting a book signing for the conservative firebrand on Long Island.

"This is, I remind you, Bill Clinton's wife," Coulter added. "[And I'm the one who's] mean to women?"

Earlier in the day, Mrs. Clinton complained about Coulter's attacks on the Jersey Girls, a group of 9/11 widows who blamed President Bush for the attacks that killed their husbands and who campaigned for John Kerry in 2004.

"Perhaps [Coulter's] book should have been called 'Heartless,"' the top Democrat said. "I know a lot of the widows and family members who lost loved ones on 9/11. They never wanted to be a member of a group that is defined by the tragedy of what happened."

An angry Clinton added that she found it "unimaginable that anyone in the public eye could launch a vicious, mean-spirited attack on people whom I've known over the last four and a half years to be concerned deeply about the safety and security of our country."

But Coulter told Hannity: "She may know the 9/11 widows, but you and I know Juanita Broaddrick" - a reference to one of Mr. Clinton's accusers.

Coulter delivered her broadsides against Mrs. Clinton as a phalanx of TV and print reporters looked on.

The heavy coverage was prompted by the New York Daily News, which frontpaged Coulter's comments on the Jersey Girls in Wednesday editions.

I'm on reruns now (crappy night for TV)...he said, "Will Ann Coulter be marginalized because of her comments?" The only one who is marginalized is O'Reilly and he doesn't even know it. To him, everything is about Bill.

Thanks for your answer. If you could answer one more; With Wyoming doing this, could it be argued that the Constitution was actually silent about women suffrage (being that during these times that when one said "all men of the world" they did mean "all humans of the world?"

You know, I love the fact that Coulter gave her and the American people a reminder of what a sick man her husband is.

I'll bet you that shuts Hitlary up , because if she says another word about Ann, her accused rapist husband will come up again. And THAT doesn't help her image even a little, because she went to bat for Billy bob with vicious assaults on all these women that Bill reportedly abused.

Dittos on that. Now that would be "shock and awe" for the middle east.

I remember the first time Rush had that funeral footage on his T.V. show. I couldn't stop laughing for a week. Thanks for the memories.

"Both are using this for their own personal gain."

There is some difference between some b*itch who is paid to represent the people in government affairs and someone who represents herself.

Ann Coulter is a breath of fresh air. She is truth where Hillary is falsehood after falsehood.

Coulter is the poster girl for vindictive, savage women who know no bounds to their willingness to destroy other people, in this case widows, to pitch her new wothless piece of crap book. Encouraging her abysmal conduct on FR is irresponsible.
The Bereaved Jersey GirlsTM and the Bereaved Cindy SheehanTM are of a piece with the "Wellstone Memorial" which was actually a partisan pep rally. The only thing to "destroy" about them is the patina of unmerited moral authority they (alone of the thousands of bereaved survivors of victims of the 9/11 attacks) have been assigned by journalism.

Nothing Coulter has said about the Jersy Girls is more harsh than what the Jersey Girls have said about President Bush, Condeleza Rice, and the rest of the Bush Administration. They asked for it, and Ann merely broke the liberal taboo against pointing that out.

Wrong! These widows are allowing themselves to be exploited by the left. You just proved Ann's point.

"perhaps used better words to reflect her views, off late she seems to have no concern about this..."

She said she has had it with liberals and the victim thing. I don't blame her. I've had it too. It's total BS!

The Swift Boat Campaign will look like a day at the beach by comparison once Slick and Slickette, the Arkansas Grifters hit the campaign trail.

How are the four Jersey widows any different from Cindy Sheehan, apart from the fact that they've gotten far wealthier off the tragedy? Do you also advocate giving Sheehan a free pass to shamelessly exploit the death of a family member to make money, gain nototiety, and undermine the War on Terror?

Quit trying to make this about Coulter. It's about the brazen manipulative tactics of the immodest and immoral left. All Coulter is doing is pointing it out while everybody else hides in fear.

Kathleen Willey Schwicker, the woman who says Bill Clinton groped her in the Oval Office, plans to release a new book hammering Hillary Clinton for her failure to support the many women who have accused her husband of sexual impropriety.

According to a report in U.S. News and World Report, Willey Schwicker is upset Hillary didn't prevent the White House spin machine from coming down on her.

"It's not so much about the incident but about what they would do to an ordinary American woman," Willey Schwicker told the magazine.

"Hillary Clinton champions herself for female workers' rights and for women, but she doesn't. She didn't support the women involved in all of Clinton's messes."

Mrs. Clinton approved the release of letters Willey Schwicker wrote to the president after the alleged incident, in which she calls herself his No. 1 fan.

"I just want people to know what it is like to be in their crosshairs," she told U.S. News.

Clinton has announced her intent to run for re-election for her New York Senate seat next year and is believed by many to be planning a run for the White House in 2008.

Willey Schwicker's story was told in the book "Their Lives: The Women Targeted by the Clinton Machine" by Candice E. Jackson. In her book, Jackson also tells the accounts of Clinton accuser Juanita Broaddrick and others.

In praising Jackson's book upon its release, Willey Schwicker said, "Candice E. Jackson's rendition of my story is the most accurate portrayal of my experience with Bill Clinton that has yet been published. I appreciate her painstaking attempt to express the true nightmare Bill and Hillary put me through."

She defends herself with a jab at Bill?

Ann is killing herself over and over and over.

It's days(or weeks) like this where I'm sadden that Ann is a "spokesperson" for the Conservative right.

Kudos to your replies on all the Coulter threads. The apologists, bashers, and FRINOs are clearly letting their real agenda show.
