What a moron.
Ann Coulter, that is.
After calling a group of 9/11 widows "harpies" who seem to be "enjoying their husbands' deaths" in her new book, the conservative pundit has gone too far. She even added:
"And by the way, how do we know their husbands weren't planning to divorce these harpies? Now that their shelf life is dwindling, they'd better hurry up and appear in Playboy..."
Huh?
Ugly is the only way I can describe what Coulter has written. Now I understand why Time magazine put her on the cover a few years ago and made her look like a praying mantis. She just might be the type of creature that would eat its mate after sex.

Seems they have a total double standard. ANYTHING said about us is fine, anything we do to defend ourselves is "Wrong"."Those who control language control minds."

There is a line by Robert Duvall's character in the movie "Open Range" that I really like: "Good health to them that has it comin'..."
Absolutely terrific post ~ God bless you.

When? I don't recall her (Queen Latifah) ever doing political stuff. What she said was not political, it was racial. I do not recall the exact wording as it was quite some time ago.

(Just LOVE (Ann's) response to Hannity (printed by Drudge as well) tonight. . .check Drudge headline. . .it is a beautful response to Hillary and one she so deserves). . .
While checking to see if Drudge had caught up with Al-Zaquari news. . .noticed that Ann's response had already been pulled - but not the postings of her retractors. . .Drudge has caved, again. . .wonder who made the first call. . .Bill or Hillary. . .

Where are we going to go for this concept of "desert"? Try the bible, you find that Romans 13 exists.

Bush has taken the proverbial 'high road'. . .and where has it gotten him with the Libs. . .who continue to make him a 'smashing success' by their own never-changing MO. . .
Someone needs a sword to cut through the Liberal garbage the Left lives in and want us to to live in as well.
Perhaps if there were more Repubs who could shake their dulled senses and who were willing to take on the Libs; and wake-up their own Repubs as well. . .Ann's rhetoric would not need to be as 'intemporate'. . .
. . .as it is. . .she says what needs to be said; because no one else will come even close to the truth of these Libs. . .

Which part wouldn't Jesus say? I don't recall anyone saying that Coulter used coarse or obscene language.
Jesus called the pharisees & sadduccees "whitewashed sepulchres full of dead mens bones." He said they were "of their father the devil."
Jesus had some really hard things to say.

She did go too far. Their is something called decency in this world and attacking the widows of a terrorist attack goes well beyond it. Coulter is not a serious political commentator. She is an attention hound whose entire shtick is to sell books by making outrageous, biting, and often cruel statements. I really wish we didn't have people like her in politics. At first I liked her but her act has really worn thin.
To: JCEccles
Coulter's comments were precisely and well adapted to the circumstances. My point is that Coulter knew she would start a firestorm, and in fact she intended to do so.
You can disagree with a person's views and tactics in different ways, and Coulter's schtick is to disagree in the most outrageous terms possible.
Let me ask you: how are they different from Cindy Sheehan (apart from getting a whole lot more money from the tragedy)? Do you also advocate giving Sheehan a free pass?
I don't agree with Cindy Sheehan or her tactics, but I know a surprising number of military members & military wives who think that invading Iraq was a dubious strategy in the war on terror, and probably don't disagree with Sheehan all that much.
Frankly, I've begun to doubt how serious our government is about the "War on Terror" after seeing just how un-serious they've been about securing our borders.

Their is something called decency in this worldReally? Decency is something sadly lacking in the public preenings and gratuitous attacks on the War on Terror carried out by the Jersey 9/11 widows.
All Coulter did was point out this lack of decency. It is a curious thing that you do not side with Coulter, but with the enemies of America.
To: Amelia
Your curious defenses of the Jersey 9/11 widows and condemnation of the War on Terror is howling moonbat material, especially coming on this glorious morning when it has been announced that America's finest took out the world's top terrorist (after bin Laden) with a 2500 pound bomb.
You should be celebrating. Instead you are sitting in a corner, grousing, a little black cloud over your head.

I take it you come from the school of gutter politics as well.

Are you equating Coulter with America? Are you saying opposition to her is opposition to America?

I thought the Lady Ann was being too polite. These "widows" per se, are worse than cannibals. Genuine cannibals only feed off of their victims once and generally don't know who they're eating. These ghouls, drenched in the stink of their decayed loved ones, will be feasting on those who they purported to care about for the rest of their lives...or until they run out of media attention.
