After calling a group of 9/11 widows "harpies" who seem to be "enjoying their husbands' deaths" in her new book, the conservative pundit has gone too far. She even added:
"And by the way, how do we know their husbands weren't planning to divorce these harpies? Now that their shelf life is dwindling, they'd better hurry up and appear in Playboy..."
Huh?
Ugly is the only way I can describe what Coulter has written. Now I understand why Time magazine put her on the cover a few years ago and made her look like a praying mantis. She just might be the type of creature that would eat its mate after sex.

You've said it very well. I have felt this way for years. In what way did the deaths on 9-11 suddenly confer political expertise on anyone who lost husbands, wives, or children?
A few years back, I lost my very lovely wife to a bad and rapidly acting disease.
That gave me no expertise on anything on which I hadn't had prior expertise, not even on the disease that killed her. Medical science had nothing to offer save palliative measures.
Crap happens, and that's the truth. The sympathy of the entire nation went out to those who lost loved ones on 9-11, but I got sick of hearing the same harpy voices blame Bush for something over which he had no control.

I love it when idiots like this guy and Keith Olberman mouth off. Keith was at his finest venom tonight. Of course, with every bad mouth of Ann Coulter, he helps her sell more books and brings us more converts. The Democrat Party with these left-wing, liberal commentators, is on the way to a major toilet flushing. Oh, by the way, Ann was right about about the New Jersey "Witches". It is Bill and Hillary Clinton and the Democrat Party that are the murderers of American innocents that died on 911 and before!!!
I love and admire Ann more than ever.
So the point is, if you or a family member have ever been the victim of a crime, you can make your political arguments free of citicism? For how long? It's been nearly five years. Maybe Coulter's humor laced criticism isn't for everyone (she keeps me in stitches), but those women are fair game when they turn their own tragedy into a political trump card. If the subject is off limits then it should be off limits for them as well.

On the contrary, you do have an insider's perspective on the disease and it's ravaging effects, a perspective that you can speak with authority about because you lived it. The 911 widows, however, have no insider knowledge because their husbands died on a certain day in a specific place. No more than, say, a wife in Idaho that lost her husband on 9-11-01 in a car wreck.
Then what would she do for a living? Wait tables?

Well, you don't have to worry about this issue. I am sure that she would never, in a million years, have sex with you.
Those who carry truth to the public are considered an enemy to those on the Left. Those who avail themselves to the truth earn names as well.
We know this as a favorite marxist tactic used by all Lefties, to discourage such excursions into truth by the use/attachment of dismissive and unflattering 'labels'.
It is the same MO as the mind control of political correctness; designed to re-'frame' and contain the truth while altering perceptions so as to have an entire culture conform with the Left's distorted, if not 'evil' version of reality. . . .

I think what she said was over the top, and she apparently knew people would be outraged by her comments.
You'll never convince some people here that she was wrong, however.
If the sentence about them enjoying their spouses deaths (which is a jab at their new lifestyle but seems to imply they aren't grieving) wasn't in there, I would agree with everything I've seen that she wrote about them. They are despicable people. They not only are useful idiots, they have spit on the sacrifice of 343 firefighters and 22 police officers.
She's not wrong, but she shouldn't have said it.....like saying someone is too fat to get a date.
