Pretty soon we will start to see some actual results building. Up to this point all that is being reported is absentee. Even the KOGO guys have no active information yet. Chill.
To: Galtoid
Why are these results so freakin' slow?
The illegals are slooowww voters.

Dont't know. I'm just reporting on the KOGO numbers.

Why are these results so freakin' slow? Dude ...You are in Kentucky(?) or you may be in a Holiday Inn, but I digress. The polls have only been closed for an hour. Mellow.

Wouldn't it be ironic if the Minutemen candidate costs Pro HR4437 Bilbray the election.Ironic isn't the word for it.

"The illegals are slooowww voters." Same with the dead people. Even though the media isn't hyping this race much, I think it's an indicator of things to come on a national level given the factors in play.

The KOGO announcer said low turnout.

Is that good??? I mean it is a Republican County..
To: Jim Robinson
Jim, remember this?
capoliticalnews.com | May 20, 2006:Conservatives, nationwide are getting angry about the loss of principle by GOP'ers in office. Big spending in Washington and Sacramento. The inability to control illegal aliens. Failure to protect jobs and the failure to stop the social agenda of liberals in our schools in finally causing conservatives to say NO to GOP incumbents, even if it means we could lose seats in a legislative body. The thought is simple, why protect a Republican running for office if their voting record will differ little from the Democrats... In the California 50th Congressional District Special Election, the Democrat is ahead of the Republican, since the Republican has been portrayed as more liberal than many Democrats--has even supported Democrats in the past.

Stop whining. The Minutemen could be instrumental in throwing this seat away and I for one will let their supporters know it. So how is that the fault of some FReepers?
We have no control over who runs for what elected office.

Is that good??? I mean it is a Republican County.. Yes it's Repub. The current KOGO number is mainly absentee according to KOGO.

We have no control over who runs for what elected office. I wasn't talking about anyone but Minutemen supporters. The Minutemen DO have control over who they endorse. Having said that let's see how this plays out. It may not make a difference.

This seems to be her real name (whether Tello is her maiden name or married name, I have no idea)...there is a real surname Tello, which appears to be Hispanic...the Social Security death index has over 300 individuals with that surname.
She lists herself as a "tax accountant" and seems to have run in previous elections.
To: CAWats
As technology improves you would think vote counting would go faster. Instead it seems to get slower with every election. I suppose it would be very fast if everyone could vote electronically but then the whiners would say the Republicans are trying to steal every election.
