Bilbray/Busby results will be here under U.S. REPRESENTATIVE 50TH DISTRICT - (RUN-OFF) ... http://www.sdvote.org/election/congress.xml
All election results are on this page ... http://www.sdvote.org/election/primary.xml
William Griffith 1,846 5%
Trouble right there.
It will be too bad if so many voters throw away their votes when there is a pro-enforcement anti-amnesty conservative REPUBLICAN on the ballot.
Bilbray will be hard-pressed to win if Busby gets her 45-46% (again) and Griffith carries 4-5%.
Yep. Thank the Minutemen for that one.
oops, forgot the link: http://vote.ss.ca.gov/Returns/usrep/5000.htm
I always go to the Secretary of State page. As of 8:35 CA time, with 57 of 500 precincts reporting, it is going to Busby cuz Bilbray is sharing a split GOP vote:
Francine Busby 12,036
Brian P. Bilbray 11,071
DUDE ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS? BUSBY IS WINNING?
I am anti-amnesty but Bilbray is as good as it is going to get.
You're looking at the wrong information. Go here...

Thats the primary vote, the primary is on the same day as the special election.
That's not correct.
Quit starting flame wars. All the FReepers I know supported Bilbray over the Minuteman.
It is too bad that the Minutemen have decided they would rather keep the issue instead of supporting those that agree with them.
Stop whining. The Minutemen could be instrumental in throwing this seat away and I for one will let their supporters know it.
Wouldn't it be ironic if the Minutemen candidate costs Pro HR4437 Bilbray the election.
Ironic isn't the word for it.
It looks like that's the total for the primary race rather than the runoff.
The runoff has Bilbray 7 points ahead of Busby.
BILBRAY 50%
BUSBY 42%
13% COUNTED
These are probably still absentees which are counted first. Does anybody know how many thousand votes the Bilbray was expecting to be ahead with the absentees? Absentees have a large military component in this district and trend Republican.
Just curious but did you all get new voting machines out there?
Why are these results so freakin' slow?
