You're not supposed to try these cases in the press anyway. Every prosecutor waits until trial to present the evidence. If Murtha insists on politicizing these acts, and publishing the details before trial, then he's just ensuring that these soldiers won't get a fair trial, and that they'll have to be released.
Let's calm down a bit here. The presumption of innocence is a legal concept; I don't think many folks here would conclude that OJ Simpson is innocent.
