Fahrenheit Jimmy Carter [$1M from Bin Ladens]

Ex-U.S. President Jimmy Carter is in league with Osama bin Laden.

A paper trail shows that more than $1 million has been funneled from Bakr M. Bin Laden on behalf of the Saudi Bin Laden Group to The Carter Center.

That’s an impressive bit of investigative journalism that comes your way, not courtesy of the New York Times and company, but from Melanie Morgan, Chairman, Censure Carter Committee (Censure Carter Committee ).

"An investigation by the Censure Carter Committee into the financing for The Carter Center of Atlanta, Georgia founded by President Carter and his wife to advance his "Blame America First" policies reveals that over $1,000,000 has been funneled from Bakr M. Bin Laden for the Saudi Bin Laden Group to the Carter Center," says Censure Carter.Com in a mainstream media-ignored recent media release.

How does Canadian media find out this about President Carter?

That is pretty amazing reporting. I hope it is accurate.

It helps explain a few things about him over the years, though.

How can this be true? Jimmuh Carter has never shown any sign of irresponsibility or corruption!

I'd be very surprised to see this printed in the United States. The American media wants the war trashed, not proponents against it. Jimmie Carter is slime and history will probably show him as the worst president in our history if truth be told. I hope he gets everything he so richly deserves {sarcasm mode off}

Jimmy Carter also played kissing cousin to Agha Hasan Abedi, the director of the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (the BCCI or Bank of Crooks and Criminals). Jimmah used on numerous occasions Abedi's jet as he toodled around Africa and the world. Once in Khartoum in 1989 he was asked by a US official why he was using the personal jet of a man under investigation for massive bank fraud. Old Jimmah blew up. It was a case of do as I say, not as I do. Jimmy is just another white trash southerner like Bill Clinton who never read Faulkner.

Jimmy Carter is a traitor and a fool. But this story is bogus.

Ok, flamers, get ready for the next part.

Not all members of the Bin Laden clan (and it is huge) are supporters of Al Qaeda. This story is just more Saudi bashing and demagoguery.

The Saudis are not our enemy. Not even all the members of the Bin Laden clan are our enemy. (One female member of the clan is a pretty sexy singer). And to bash Jimmy Carter over this one is foolishness.

There are so many good reason to hate the traitorous Carter. He is undoubtedly the worst President of the 20th Century as well as the worst ex-President in American history. He almost single handedly gave us the Mullahs in Iran and Chavez in Venezuela to name just two of his accomplishments.

So to try and tag him with Al Qaeda connections because of the Bin Laden's contributions to his charity is almost beyond belief.

The world really has gone mad.

Thank you Teddy Bear. But get ready for the flamers. Not tarring everyone from Saudi Arabia as a terrorist is heresy to a lot of folks on this forum.

"Where are the Saudi critics of bin Laden, Al Qaeda, and terrorism in general, hmmmmm.....?"

In the Saudi Government you fool!

OBL is under a death sentence in Saudi. The Saudis would kill him the minute they got their hands on him. OBL hates the Saudi royal family and the feeling is mutual. Saudi security forces have killed dozens of Al Qaeda operatives in the country. Go look it up. The facts are there for all to see.

Your gratuitous insult does nothing to strengthen your argument.

The Saudi regime is one of the harshest on earth. Ask any Jew or Christian therein. Saudi versus OBL is a turf war and nothing more. Living under either equals a nightmare.

Sorry, bub, you're going to have to take second place to me in your disdain for Carter. And yes, that statement is pure hooey.

The bin Laden family is huge. It's largely pro-Western. And it's disowned Osama in the strongest possible terms. Furthermore, it has ties to a lot of American politicians, including the Bushes. And there's nothing wrong with that.

Michael Moore tried to use those bin Laden connections to smear the Bushes, his target audience being the ignorant who didn't know any better. I refuse to stoop to his level. So should everybody else.

Your gratuitous insult does nothing to strengthen your argument.

And your attempted strawman does nothing to strengthen yours. Let's take a look:

The Saudi regime is one of the harshest on earth. Ask any Jew or Christian therein. Saudi versus OBL is a turf war and nothing more. Living under either equals a nightmare.

Even assuming that all of the above is true, how does that have any relevance to the claim that "Ex-U.S. President Jimmy Carter is in league with Osama bin Laden?"

I'd love to nail Carter, but having a bin Laden family connection puts him with the Bush family. The bin Laden's are a large family, Osama being the black sheep. The Bush admin. allowed several bin Ladens to fly out of the country right after 9-11, a move I'm still having problems with..

http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=34405 Additionally, George H.W. Bush was reportedly having lunch with a bin Laden brother the day before 9-11. GHW Bush also had some business dealings with the bin Ladens:

http://www.judicialwatch.org/1685.shtml

The bin Ladens are a large family. I think there are 50 bin Laden brothers. So, as great as it would be to smear Carter with this, we'd have to be explaining away the (perfectly legitimate) Bush family dealings with same.
