Minuteman Project THROWN OUT OF JOHN McCAIN's OFFICE -- After Action Report Part II
Self | June 4,2006 | The Spirit Of Allegiance (former screen name Blurblogger)

Posted on 06/04/2006 8:01:07 AM PDT by The Spirit Of Allegiance

Friday, May 12, I with about a dozen others in the Minuteman Project Caravan to Washington D.C. visited the offices of Senators offices on both sides of the 'Amnesty' issue. We first stopped by the office of Senator Jeff Sessions and expressed our GREAT APPRECIATION for his heroic fight against the Leftists and the compromised 'Conservatives' in the Senate. His staff was very pleased to host our group.

Then, we went to some that were not exactly heroes, at least not lately. As a group or individually, I also visited the offices of Frist, Feinstein, Brownback and a number of others.

I had the audacity to write in Senator Chuck Hagel's public Guest Book a written demand that he enforce the law and uphold the Constitution. Anyone who can verify my May 12 entry there--as a taxpayer very appropriately utilizing taxpayer-purchased materials--please feel free to do so. But I'll bet that particular book just winds up 'lost' or missing a page.

A photographer from The Washington Times was with us for the final several hundred miles along the Caravan. She photographed the Hagel guest book while we were in his office. I don't think the photo made it into print, however.

I made a similar entry in Senator John McCain's guest book that same day. Various members of the caravan were present. While I wrote, others politely but firmly insisted that Senator McCain uphold the U.S. Constitution. Although we were peaceful, the tall young man at the front desk probably pushed a hidden button, because without his phoning anyone, a dour, dark-haired woman looking to be in her 40s, with a silent man about the same age, came from behind varnished doors. She told us to leave immediately or we would be reported to the Capitol Police and arrested. Wow. So much for constituent free speech!

She had no name tag on. I asked her name but The Dour One refused to provide the information. I asked her title but she remained silent. If dirty looks could kill, there would have been a dozen Minuteman corpses! The silent man accompanying her seemed to be also mute--or ashamed of his name as well. We left. I WISH I had a photo of that, um, public servant. There was a private photo taken of the McCain guest book by our group; I hope to locate who took it.

The Dour One was not a junior aide, she was some sort of senior staffer for McCain. McCain would have wanted us treated exactly that way. Yes, constituents like us make it very inconvenient for humble public servants to arrogate their wishes upon a dumbed-down populace. And we intend to make it even harder for such dour parasitic lice as these to remain AS public servants.

People of Arizona, you need to send some people in for Sensitivity Training. Not as in sensitivity to my feelings. Sensitivity to what the whole McCain staff is going to need for their NEXT JOBS after we vote Treacherous Johnny out of office!

A recent FR poll asked whether I'd vote for McCain vs. Hillary for President. I didn't vote. I DO NOT TRUST THE MAN. And the way his staff treated us was exactly how I'd expect to be treated by a political enemy. I guess I am--because I expect anyone on a governmental payroll in the United States of America to be loyal to the U.S. Constitution, to say the Pledge of Allegiance and to defend this Country--not betray it. Mr. McCain, thanks for your past service, but you are now no friend of America, Sir.

Meanwhile, it is IMPERATIVE that true Conservatives not be dismayed or alienated from the GOP--we just need to weed out the untrustworthy RINOs and CINOs posing as Republicans. THAT is the solution, not being divided-and-conquered by Leftist friends like McCain!

Because truly ... "the [evil Marxist liberal socialist Democrat Party] alternative is unthinkable" -- Jim Robinson

Our public servants are becoming quite uppity and in dire need of instruction in proper respect for their masters.

I just finished attending the Texas GOP Convention as a delegate.

I am pumped up and enthusiastic.

Our Senators, Kay Baily Hutchison and John Cornyn, Governor Perry, Elected Reps who attended, all support secure borders, employer enforcement, and no "Shamnesty". Our applause, cheers and standing O's, gave them a clear indication of the delegate mood and enthusiasm for these stated positions

Tina Binkeiser, Party Chairman, delivered a rousing opening speech, which was in large part about the Conservative stance of the Texas Republican Party.

We of course Being Texan have the Largest Political convention anywhere, and also the largest Congressional delegation.
Proving once again that Conservatism triumphs, wherever it is tried.

As a side note;
President Bush's name was mentioned only one time on the first day of the Convention. It was neither cheered nor booed. Make of that what you will.

Let McCainiac explain his activities in funding the Arizona-Mexico Commission, and the Border Infrastructure Project being implemented in collaboration with federal, state and local official government agencies. Let him tell Americans how much tax monies he appropriated to aid and abet illegal aliens to cross our borders, and to subsidize illegals' activities.

For more info, go here: http://www.azmc.org/

FROM THE ARIZONA-MEXICO COMMISSION WEB SITE

Welcome to the Arizona-Mexico Commission (AMC) online news and information resource. The Arizona-Mexico Commission is Arizona's premiere cross-border organization. We are a mission-driven non-profit organization chaired by Arizona's governor, Janet Napolitano. Our mission is to improve the economic well being and quality of life for residents of Arizona by promoting a strong, cooperative relationship with Mexico and Latin America through advocacy, trade, networking and information.

Looking for funding? Look no further and check out AMC-ASU’s new funding database: Unlocking the gates to grant sponsorship in Arizona! "The Border Infrastructure Project database is the single source of information on Arizona’s border infrastructure projects. It tracks each project’s progress along its approval, programming and funding paths and provides the information in a concise and timely way. I hope this is a valuable tool for you and that you will use it often." -Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano

The University of Arizona Office of Economic and Policy Analysis developed the Border Infrastructure Project concept in partnership with the Arizona-Mexico Commission. It is being implemented in collaboration with federal, state and local government agencies. Border communities and stakeholders will be engaged in this project through outreach efforts.

The following briefly explains why illegals creep across the desert and perpetuate the lie about taking so-called "low-pay jobs Americans won't do."

The US taxpayer is subsidizing aliens' every need 24/7, morn til night: Using multiple phony SS #'s, forged documents, and multiple IDs the invaders collect multiple $4500-$5400 EICs from the IRS by declaring several names/jobs - just by going $1 over the income limit. They also line up for EINs, ITINs, Child Tax Credit, Additional Child Tax Credit, welfare and food stamps.

US Taxpayers are subsidizing invaders' daily food intake, housing, reduced mortgages, free medical care, free education, reduced in-state tuition and out of state tuition. We also foot the legal bills when they start suing if we don't provide these goodies pronto......etc., etc, ad infinitum, ad nauseaum.

The 423 pp monstrosity Senate bill (secretly written in El Presidente Vicente Fox's hacienda assisted by reconquista groups) provides that invaders will be paid a prevailing wage, Earned Income Tax credits, medical benefits; housing benefits; WIC; anchor baby citizenship; legal representation and amnesty from back taxes owed.

The Senate atrocity does not meet Constitutional muster b/c Vicente, and the reconquistas, could care less about the US Constitution. They want only to get their greedy hands on the US treasury and to take over the US government with the vote, or by violence, if necessary (their own words and signage at the recent protests).

All of this explains why aliens will do anything, pay anything, endure anything, to sneak over the border to get so-called "low-paying jobs" They have extortion dancing in their criminal heads......plans to rip-off US taxpayers every which way they can.

.....and billions of it goes back to Mexico where El Presidente Vicente gets a nice chunk of it---and so do the federales in Central and South American banana republics who help their compadres cross the border.

offices......are paid by We the People.....

As is the "dour woman"'s salary and benefits. Since when do the Dour Ones have the right not to give their name to their Employer (US taxpayers)

mccain will not make it out of the primaries so I am not too worried about him being our nominee. What I am worried about is we have no viable nominee.

You have no freespeech right in another persons office. None.

If that person works for me, I sure as hell do have a right to walk into "his office".

McVain is rotten through and through, and aims to take down this nation.

Look at what he has done to the Republican Party, in the Senate alone.

The more I read and study of McCain, his actions, his political philosphy...the more I become more concerned about his potential presidency than I would of Hitlery. I seriously question this man's sanity.

My guess is that most Texans likely do not think of the President as a Texan.

Thanks for the encouraging report from the Lone Star State!

The Minutemen patriots should have simply pointed out that they were there to sign up for $50 an hour lettuce picking jobs.

We tried that in April at his Phoenix office...we were still kicked off the grounds. We were relinquished to the public sidewalk, where his brown shirts could not do anything to us.

John McCain - Honorary Member of "The Keating Five"

McCain was one of the so-called "Keating Five" senators. He was investigated by the Senate Select Committee on Ethics in 1991 regarding the acceptance of favors from Lincoln Savings & Loan Association (Lincoln) and its owner, Charles H. Keating, Jr. Simply put, the issue was whether McCain and the other senators used their official positions to attempt to pressure Federal Home Loan Bank Board officials to go easy on the troubled institution. Eventually Lincoln went bust, costing depositors and taxpayers millions.

In its final report (November 20, 1991), here is what the Senate Select Committee on Ethics concluded about McCain's conduct:

"Mr. Keating, his associates, and his friends contributed $56,000 for Senator McCain's two House races in 1982 and 1984, and $54,000 for his 1986 Senate race. Mr. Keating also provided his corporate plane and/or arranged for payment for the use of commercial or private aircraft on several occasions for travel by Senator McCain and his family, for which Senator McCain ultimately provided reimbursement when called upon to do so. Mr. Keating also allowed Senator McCain and his family to vacation with Mr. Keating and his family, at a home provided by Mr. Keating in the Bahamas, in each of the calendar years 1983 through 1986.

"…[F]rom 1984 to 1987, Senator McCain took actions on Mr. Keating's behalf or at his request. The Committee finds that Senator McCain had a basis for each of these actions independent of the contributions and benefits he received from Mr. Keating, his associates and friends.

"Based on the evidence available to it, the Committee has given consideration to Senator McCain's actions on behalf of Lincoln. The Committee concludes that, given the personal benefits and campaign contributions he had received from Mr. Keating, Senator McCain exercised poor judgment in intervening with the regulators without first inquiring as to the Bank Board's position in the case in a more routine manner. The Committee concludes that Senator McCain's actions were not improper nor attended with gross negligence and did not reach the level of requiring institutional action against him. The Committee finds that Senator McCain took no further action after the April 9, 1987 meeting when he learned of a criminal referral.

The entire phrase is: God bless you, and God bless Texas.

LOL

Seriesly, Do get out and vote in November. Local politics is very important from a "Grassroots" standpoint. It is where our future Representatives are coming into play. It is where the weeding out process begins.

Unfortunately, sometimes it is an overabundance of good candidates that is heartbrending.

The Vice Chairmanship of our Texas Party was such a choice yesterday, where Bobby Eberle lost a close vote to Robin Armstrong. They both deserved to win, and even though I supported Eberle, Our GOP certainly did win by having such outstanding candidates.

How do we go about weeding them out? Who will run against them, or have the money to do so?

It would be great to field some Free Republic candidates, one at a time, as we can afford to promote them. We could go door to door, use flyers, give speeches at city counsel meetings.

Target one Rino at a time. Something.

The problem with voting McCain out of office is he is not up for re-election until 2010. I think reviving the recall against him may have a slightly better chance of succeding.
