- We must not arm those submarines with any weapons, that might piss off our enemies and the last thing we want to do is piss them off or they might attack us, say by blowing up buildings in NY and Washington
- Rhode Island has it's own very special illegal immigrants that must get special status with more benefits and protections than actual citizens and Senator Reed is their advocate and expects their votes!

- The US Marines are, by definition, war criminals
- If only
we George Bush were willing to appease Iran everything would be fine!
- Topics:
- How will allegations that U.S. Marines killed innocent Iraqis in the town of Haditha affect the American effort to win over Iraqis' "hearts and minds"?
- How soon can we expect a drawdown of U.S. forces from Iraq?

- We will ask potential 2008 Democratic presidential candidate and ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee: Joe Biden (D-DE).
- Hans Blix, the Chairman of the Weapons of Mass Destruction Commission, will join Tim Russert this Sunday for another exclusive interview detailing the commission's proposals on how the world could be freed of nuclear, biological and chemical weapons.
- The WMD Commission has been working for two years on an independent, international threat assessment on WMD -- including the 27,000 nuclear weapons worldwide.

- "I spent 3 years in Iraq and never found anything wrong with anything Saddam did, but I've just spent 2 weeks in Zurich and have discovered that George Bush is the Anti-Christ and the United States is the source of all evil in the world"
- John Harwood
- The Democrats might just be able to pull out a win in the Senate or House (but I'm already hedging my bets, so don't expect me to be on too many shows this fall)
- Gwen Ifill
- With a finger on the pulse of all of the leftist conventional wisdom and well versed in all of the DNC/MoveOn.ORG talking points, Ms Ifill is the ideal PBS reporter
- What would you like to ask this week's guests? (web page for submitting questions for this weeks show)
- Meet the Press mailbox (web page for comments)
This is NOT intended to be the live Sunday Morning Talk Show thread. I trust AB will do that as usual. This is strictly a preview of who will be on the main shows. The idea is to give folks a chance to muster their resources for that thread. I would particularly ask that anyone with specific knowledge or resources about the topics / guests announced for these shows post them here so that the rest of us can go into the shows with a heads up on what to look for.

I would LOVE for them to replace Kasich's hour show with Gigot's show.I NEVER watch Kasich and I have tried to catch Gigot since I realized it was on (not at 11 pm though, that is out of the question), so I certainly agree. I was quite disappointed that it was not on.

Did you read the article that Phsstpok linked under Lindsey Graham...that is titled, "6/02/06 Senate Bill is an Unconstitution Act"???
It is about the Hawaiian Bill that Akaka is putting on the floor for a vote next week....
I have to tell you that this is one that sailed right over my head...and yet the article makes it sound like, like Teddy Kennedy and his desire to raise the minimum wage, Akaka has been trying to attach this to all kinds of bills.
The more I find out about the "stuff" that is done under the radar of Americans, (even ones that pay attention, like I do)...in Congress, the more concerned I get. And, like so many of these Congresscritters want to add "sunset provisions" to a lot of the more controverisal bills like the Patriot Act...
I think we have GOT to get a "sunset provision" for getting out Congresscritters that have been in Congress so long..that they just are not scrutinized, or allow other Congresscritters get away with less scrutiny.
I know you and others will say that the elections every 2-6 years IS their "sunset provision"...but, unless/until the American people are made more aware of the behind the scenes crapola that goes on...
The same old, same old will keep going....and I think this year, is a good example of what goes wrong...when you have a supposed Republican majority in the Senate...but so many of the Republicans have been there so long...that their loyalties lie more with their friends in the Senate, than their constituents, or even the POTUS, who can only serve at most, 8 years.
Sorry to post so long...I am just frustrated that I know so little, but can affect even less...

I know you and others will say that the elections every 2-6 years IS their "sunset provision"...You won't ever hear me say such a thing. Once elected, the incumbent is almost impossible to dislodge from office for a number of reasons. There are very few who, like Dr. Coburn, actually want to serve their constituents and their country and who care about its future.

Is it just me, or does it seem like Mort Kondrake is doing about 99% of the talking on the Beltway Boys tonight??
Sheesh, I must be in a bad mood...because his stuttering is really bothering me tonight.

If it wasn't for these people tirelessly self-promoting their own shows, we wouldn't even know these people existed.
They are legends in their own minds.

Colter was on Kasich's show last night and he tried to burn her concerning her book while admitting he had not read it yet and was basing his opinion on what his wife told him. Utter failure. Colter appeared very bored with him.
