No. Bush isn't right on everything. For the life of me I cannot understand why he clings to his "open borders" policy, except perhaps big business is pressuring him.

With all his faults, Bush is still head and shoulders above the traitorous slimeball billy jeff klintoon.

Carter and Lyndon Johnson were living proof that bad enough leadership could squander any advantage.

Carter was the most incompetent. FDR except for his early wartime leadership was a disaster. His policies prolonged the depression and brought socialism and government control where it had not been before. LBJ was a disaster on VietNam and wasted much on the Great Society.
Reagan was a gem. Even Reagan made mistakes (Iran-Contra), but as a whole he did much to reverse what Roosevelt started. Bush has been much better than people give him credit.

Take this same poll in 1987, and it would say REAGAN is the Worst President, and Donald Regan was the Anti-Christ......

I'm old enough to realize that we go through this tripe every time a Repub gets elected......

I'm sure as with all polls of late it over-represents Democrats. Clearly it over-represents stupid people. I agree with the Reagan part, but Clinton a close second? These people are sick in the head.

You have to remember that there are alot of people who were not born during many of the Presidents that are listed so if you are twenty-nine or so, you might say Reagan and Clinton because they are the only ones remembered. Ford, Carter, Bush I were just a quick Presidency. Nixon will always be remembered for resigning in disgrace. So I believe that could be a perfect explanation to these results. MSM people are probably pretty young.

I didn't have a problem helping the Contras (over the objections of pinkos like Kerry). I didn't like paying Iran for the hostages.

Ronnie should have given Iran the Khaddafy treatment.

See B.S. can take this poll and ram it far and deep into their collective hind regions.

I pretty much agree with your post completely. President Bush has had to deal with so many situations no one ever has in his position, and having a free-spending Congress on his hands hasn't helped curb his own unwillingness to cut social programs in particular. he's not perfect. But he's damned good and I think he will make a comeback.

You have a very valid point. And what they hear from the media is almost entirely glowing about Clinton and Carter as well which I'm sure impacts their choices, but about Bush it's relentlessly negative. I've never in the many years I've followed politics seen a president who gets no positive media, no credit from them for anything but only exclusively negative coverage.

>>>Poll: Bush Worst President Since 1945 Reagan Picked As Best President In Nationwide Survey<<<

This is not news. Rockefeller Republicans, like Bush, have never been that popular.

"56% of Democrats in this poll considered Bush the worst President - only 7% of Republicans. Whose side are you on again?"

I'm on the side of the fiscal and social Conservatives.

Whose side are Bush and Rove on?

I'm on the side of the Conservatives that demand our National sovereignty be preserved, our borders be secured and our present laws against illegal immigration be enforced.

Whose side are Bush, Rove and the Republican National Committee on?

Bush plunges our Nation $3 TRILLION U.S. Taxpayer's dollars further into debt, at the federal level alone, and you ask me whose side I'm on?!!
