The Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution :
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.
The problems we now face with illegal aliens will not be solved by the federal government. Yet these problems are far too important to be left to the hapless U.S. Senate to handle.
Those of both parties in the Senate, have shown us they do not care about us. They do not care about America. They have shown us we don’t matter as much as the financial support they receive from business interests who want cheap labor to run their operations.
We don’t have to take this. We can render the Senate irrelevant if we use the Tenth Amendment of the Constitution, pass the laws we need at the state level and ignore this useless body.
Let’s simply step around these illegal alien supporters and take our own protection into our own hands just as our forefathers would have.
If each state passes a series of laws that is essentially the same as the anti illegal alien bill passed in the House, we don’t need the Senate. We have the power to act in our own interest already. We don’t have to ask some rino or some Democrat for permission to protect ourselves. The Senate might think we need Mexico’s permission to protect our borders, but we don’t.
The Tenth Amendment was written for situations like this. Let’s use it before the Senate takes it away.
The states are free to either pass laws that protect their citizens or not. Those who do will see improvement immediately. Those states that do nothing will eventually drown in illegals “helping” their economies.
Georgia, Missouri, Louisiana and Wisconsin have taken steps toward this goal. Georgia’s laws are a model for the others. Once the state legislators start using this approach things will begin to move in our favor.
Let’s just forget about the clowns in Washington. Let’s do this ourselves. Our state representatives should merely step around the obstructionist U.S. Senate.
This is a battle for the life of our nation. We can’t let a handful of fools bring this great country to an end.
Article 1, Section 8 is pretty clear. Congress, and Congress alone, has the power to set the rules for Naturalization, its procedures, its rules and the enforcement policies. They have failed miserably.
Maybe the Supremes will then "find" that the right to "privacy" previously found in Griswall includes the
right of all persons in the world to "not be stopped at a border".

Congress has the power to set Naturalization rules, but I believe the states should be able to pass and enforce laws that protects it's citizens from trespassers. A 2000 mile anti-trespassing fence would be a good start.

The problem is that immigration and naturalization is one of those powers given to congress, not the states, via the constitution. You're barking up the wrong tree here.
Before you started planning a broad strategy based on the 10th Amendment, you should have read the body of the constitution that precedes the amendments.
So that's your Section 8 defense? (My apologies to Klinger.) You must be referring to the following from Article I, Section 8:

This is actually an invasion. The Constitution says Congress can call forth the militia to repel invasions. From that same Section 8. They aren't doing it.
Right before the War Between the States, the US had not done a good job repelling invasions of Texas by Mexicans and Indians. Mexicans had invaded the Texas town of Brownsville, shot up the place, and killed people. At that time the US Army had few soldiers on the border, so the Brownsville people hired the Mexican army to protect them.
The state of Texas sent the Texas Rangers after the Mexican invaders. The Rangers even crossed over the Rio Grande and went after the invaders in Mexican territory. By this time the US Army had a presence on the border, but they remained on the Texas side of the river.
Texas cited these failings of the US as one of the reasons to secede. Interestingly, after Texas seceded, some in the US Congress said that the fact that Mexicans and Indians were invading Texas was sufficient justification for the US to invade Texas.
The Rangers were used again against Mexican invaders in the 1910-1920 period. It is my belief that state governments have sufficient police powers to protect their own citizens from illegal invasions.
