I think Billboard releases their new charts tomorrow. I really think they pushed the release date back from May 16th to the 23rd so they wouldn't have to compete with the Red Hot Chili Pepper's new album.
I don't think there's any big albums coming out by anyone else the next couple of weeks, so there is a chance they will be high on the charts for a few weeks at least. But I'm not sure if that will translate to high sales.
Of course, if the Wreckers (same release date) debut at #1, I will laugh my tail off at the Chicks.
They debuted on VH1 at #6 over the weekend.
It was originally pushed back from April so they wouldnt have to compete with TOby and Rascal Flats. The chick have never had a problem with things like "payola".
