It's even more confusing than that - here's what the article actually said: "Ed Williams: "I can confirm that an employee has been suspended pending further investigation. The individual was not an employee of Reuters' news division." HUH ..???

Sooooo .. "an employee" was suspended .. but he wasn't "an employee" .. that's gobblygook speak!

Possibly the Muslim Council of Britain, according to the report. It may have been their "Media Secretary" who sent the e-mail.
