The bitter battle over the immigration bill has become a legislative minefield in this election year, though it's still unclear whether November will see any heavy political fallout as a result. To put it mildly, this issue is a thorny wilderness, festering intra-party divisions and brewing voter backlashes. It could inflict additional wounds on George W. Bush's battle-scarred presidency, shrink the GOP's congressional Republican majority and, possibly, hurt some vulnerable Democrats. Let's slice up some of these pitfalls. Stand Up For America ! |

I guess maybe "Amazing."
"No Ketuckian would ever bet on any filly with thick ankles."
You're exactly right! That's why I won't be supporting Hillary "Thunder Thighs" Clinton.
That arrangement has been reinforced by the "Hastert doctrine," the policy formally enunciated by House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert that he will bring to the floor only bills that are supported by the majority of the Republican caucus. Because of that policy, bipartisan coalitions have become rarities in the House.

LOL OMG! Ever see Hillary's clunky Ankles?! LOL!
Me, too.. though Flake more than Franks, I think Franks is a weak sister who follows Flake more often than not. JD has a worse rating (than Flake) but lately has been more vocal..... not sure, but it seems what he's saying isn't computing with his numbers... and I was thinking he would be a good congressman to encourage to run against McCain in four years.

Guess I should have read a little deeper before my prior post... so JD is talking a good game and knowing few will look at the actual votes doing the opposite??? I hope people in his district forcefully bring that to his attention.
That's my take on this --
Oh they must be just in the past week because why the sudden surge of all he stands for on the issue popping up on his website?

GOP faithful simply cannot understand why George Bush is against English as our national language: I support English-plus, not English-only, said Bush.
It's very clear to anyone who isn't blinded by party loyalty that Bush doesn't believe in America as a sovereign nation. Simply put, he's a globalist whose allegiance is to a one world body.
