Spurious George is just pissed because he cannot now spend the millions he squirreled away from his friend Saddam because it would confirm his treason.

Maverick British politician George Galloway has claimed it would be "morally justified" for an assassin to target Prime Minister Tony Blair

Well, since Mr. Galloway doesn't see anything morally wrong with assassination, perhaps Mr. Blair will decide to move forward with a plan of his own.

Her Majesty should open a room for Galloway in the Tower of London.

Isn't Galloway the guy who was getting kickbacks from the oil-for-food scam in return for his incessant lobbying against the Iraq war?

Sounds like he found another source of illicit income after oil-for-food dried up. Either that, or he's just hopping mad and will now say anything out of vengeance.

Or do I have him confused with someone else?

Is there still room on Tower Bridge for a few heads on pikes? I think starting with Galloway's would be a good idea. Just keep the kiddies away till the crows have time to pick him down to bone.

Galloway justified his remarks but not advocating it. I don't see a difference. For criminy's sakes, he's an MP, a terrorist-islamic-loving MP. Too bad MI5 doesn't take this traitor out for treason.

I can never understand how guys like Galloway can completely ignore the ridiculous human rights violations of these third-world tyrants they support. Then they accuse their own government for trying to stop these tyrants. I just don't get it.

Because as leftists they are Utopians, believing that an essentially perfect society (based on "social justice," "people's democracy," yada, yada, yada) is possible.

However it's impossible to get to the Utopia starting from the free, liberal society. You can only build the Utopia according to a plan and by starting with a clean slate. You must first have a "revolution" that casts down the (putatively unjust) institutions of liberal, Western society.

The problem here, of course, is that free, liberal, and consequently prosperous, societies are pretty much revolution proof.

Nihilism goes hand in hand with Utopianism. You must first destroy the existing order and build the Utopia on it's ashes. Totalism (totalitarianism) is likewise a necessary companion to Utopianism. Because the Utopia is built according to a plan, and an absolute ruling idea (e.g. "social justice," "racial purity," or whatever) its construction presupposes totalitarian control.

So, in short, it is only in brutal, destructive, despotic regimes, that hard leftists see hope for revolution and the institution of the Utopia. Strange, but true.

Or, to put all that more simply: They hate the liberal society precisely because it is the best society, but yet imperfect. They hate its imperfection so much that they champion the forces that would destroy it. Such is the insanity of Utopianism.

Thanks for posting it. Personally, it sounds like something a person should be in jail for.

Has this guy been expelled from Parliament yet? Surely a comment like this, on top of everything else, would be justification.

"Quisling."

Quisling was smarter than Galloway. (not just snarky -- the guy was a brilliant math student and military attache to Russia before he formed the National Samling movement). Galloway is a corrupt politician who runs with the left wing to get votes.

I'm waiting for Galloway to extrapolate his political hatemongering to say that the assassination of President Bush would likewise "be justified".

You know he's thinking it, he just hasn't found the nerve to say it yet.

In a perfect world, Galloway would mysteriously "disappear" from Castro's warm embrace and show up in a cage at Gitmo.

I'm sure advanced interrogation techniques would obtain a great deal of useful data from Galloway, and he would sing like a canary because he is, at heart - an utter coward.

Galloway is a communist ass licking socialist who spends his free time with Fidel Castro and his running dogs, sampling the prostitutes on Havana's waterfront, who are forced into such work because of Castros Utopian economic aspirations. That is what Galloway is, a liberal Utopian whose death would be fully justified because of his selling out of his own nation's freedom, what there is left of it.

Pull the trigger someone!
